I managed to not scare them too much. (but, I was on best behaviour as required by my wife) They wanted steak, so we went to a lovely (local) steak place. Highly recommend : Loetje

Had a lovely 175gram spicy steak; and great frites.

BTW, always have a good time with Israelis; they seem to have a better sense of humour than the Dutch.

of course, I had to brag about the 1400+ gram aged prime porterhouse my son and I shared (comp, of course) at Michael Jordan's Steakhouse @ Mohegan Sun last weekend.

Maybe that's their secret why they can remain open in all manner of inclement weather...

I've often wondered why there is a lock on the door. Guess they couldn't find a manufacturer to make an exterior door without a lock.

Of course, the one time I know of that a Waffle House had to close (a car drove through the glass wall), no one could find a key to the door. They had to call a locksmith while the wall was being boarded up.

scoow is a Waffle House expert. I remember the conversation we had when I met her in Atlanta on my last trip:

Me: Where should we go for dinner?

Scoow: Waffle House. There is no finer place to eat.

Me: Okay -- and it's my treat.

Scoow: Oh. Did I mention that Prime Steakhouse is a much better place to eat? Let's go there.

Years back, Denny's had to install locks at many locations so they could close for Christmas.

That's scary!

I'm watching the Pirates game, after having a few drinks... I think Mr. Kipper is afraid I might throw something at the TV after a BS call that should've meant an out, but instead, allowed the Cardinals to stay alive in that inning and eventually score 2 runs.

I am interested in purchasing a day pass to the sky lounge. I have seen passes on ebay and was told this is the place to find out more about passes.

He was watching the baseball game in one room, I was watching it in another. We do better not watching it together.
