Tomorrow, so tonight I'm:
  • replacing the living room furniture
  • rearranging the living room
  • cutting the grass

Tomorrow, I'm:
  • Swinging by a yard sale that he wants to me visit, as they list reloading items for sale
  • Changing the sheets on the bed
  • Washing the blankets
  • Doing multiple loads of laundry
  • Cleaning off the kitchen table
  • Cooking halupki
  • Preparing chicken almondine (minus the almonds) to freeze
  • Preparing tortilla lime chicken to freeze
  • Baking cookies or brownies
  • Dusting/mopping the floors
  • Cleaning the bathroom

If I still have time after all of that tomorrow, I'll also ponder bathing both dogs so they smell nice for Mr. Kipper's return. Although, considering Cobaka will pee all over the place when she sees him, I may dust the floors but not mop them until after he gets home.

Does he trap chipmunks?

My neighborhood always has lots of chipmunks and they are not good neighbors. Every year, I trap and relocate 8 to 12 chipmunks. This year the population has exploded and I have already trapped 22.

We don't have a chipmunk problem, just a bad neighbor problem.

Have you considered getting a cat? Or several?

The cats would kill them, and my guess is that he doesn't want that, since he relocates them. Perhaps spaying and neutering them would work?

I relocate them because my neighbor is very kind hearted. She didn't even like me trapping them at first. Her opinion on that did change after she found chipmunks burrowing up under her house.

I've thought of getting a cat. I'm allergic, though it wouldn't be bad to have an outdoors cat if you can keep it from wandering off. When I bought my house, another neighbor had an outdoors cat. I never understood the benefits of that until the cat died and I began having the occasional mouse in the house.

Am I the only one here concerned about kipper's marital future?

We've not had mice in the areas of the house where the dogs stay. We did have mice in the basement, and found them nesting in one of our rifle crates. We carried the crate outside, and then brought Geno outside to the crate. We've not had mice since.

They've behaved thus far, as I've not seen them back on our property, other than to pick up errant baseballs and such.

I wouldn't think you'd be concerned!

Of course I am concerned about your marital future!

If you are not married, how can I convince you to have an adulterous affair with me?

If I'm not married, you wouldn't need to worry about an angry, armed husband.

They never worry me -- as long as they are in the States and the wife is visiting Israel.

Am I officially a pedophile (or just an incurable optimist)?

There is a young (age 6) girl in the States who I have sent several toys to -- mainly because I like her aunt (an FT member) and her parents.

Yesterday, for the first time, I saw a picture of this girl. She is blonde and gorgeous.

I have already asked her aunt to reserve a Friday night with her for me, 20 years in the future.

Does this make me a pedophile, an optimist, or both?
