Tried to make a change to the return leg of an existing US-Europe roundtrip booked with miles. App came back with a shockingly low price (and taxes quoted in GBP - this trip has nothing to do with the UK). I tried making the change but it errors out, claiming I’m logged into the wrong account. I am not.

Checked on the website, there is no such fare available (it was less than half of the originally booked price). So the app is quoting something completely wrong and unrelated to my search.

Great job testing that app, Delta IT. Only the best.

Call me paranoid, but am I the only one who wonders what house of horrors DL may be cooking up for the future? It seems like there are a LOT more IT glitches (even taking the normal poor IT into account) occurring lately. To me, that raises a red flag that they are working on “something”. And if the past is any indicator, it will likely be an “enhancement” that is not in the customers’ favor. Hopefully I am just paranoid (and wrong)…

This isn’t really an “error” as much as a really bad design decision, when I get a push notification of a gate change there is so much dumb fluff corporate-speak in the notification that I can’t actually see the gate number and I have to tap and wait for the app to do its slow-as-molasses update baloney to find out what actually changed

Absolutely, they definitely dumbed down the notification text. "The departure gate for DLxxxx from AAA to BBB has changed...". It's especially lovely to read that at 3:30 AM when you're not fully awake yet but also on your way to the airport, and your heart stops thinking it's a delay or cancellation. They should have the punchline first...i.e., "GATE CHANGE".

And not to be pedantic, and I believe I already mentioned this in the rants/least substantive thread...but the notification text for a delayed flight says something like "your flight has changed." When in reality the flight didn't change at all, just the departure time. That also sent me into a panic the first time I saw the (new) text. I guess maybe in layman's terms "delay" and "Delta changed my flight [time]" could be considered to be the same...but I digress.

The latest release is still trash
even after logging out I cannot get rid of a completed trip. And miles are wrong. (MQD however are fine)
had to delete app - again.

edit - while the other platforms say (1) or (2) or whatever correct number of trips, going in to all of my trips still shows the rogue/completed journey.

So it's a wider IT problem.

Anyone find a solution to flights not getting refreshed in the app?
I noticed the app would not refresh my itineraries and was showing things from several days ago... so I removed and reinstalled the app. Now I have ZERO flights/itineraries appearing and it won't let refresh at all.

What a cluster. No trips showing up. Added one using a ticket number. Will see if it sticks. So looking forward to Monday morning… Hoping for an app update!

Had the same issue earlier in the week, and did the same thing - delete the app and reinstall, and 0 trips loaded. I added some manually, but for a couple I got an error, didn't matter if using PNR or ticket number; meanwhile the website showed it just fine. Then suddenly yesterday all is OK again - so, give it another 48h or so and see if it corrects.

Of course there are still the "regular" issues with some of the most basic things - slow loading, unable to refresh information after the app has been in background for a few minutes, every f*n time when tapping to open a specific leg seatmap it jumps to the first flight of an itinerary. This last one drives me insane as a lot of my trips have 6+ legs - I have messed up seat assignment becasue of it several times. I also have an issue where I cannot added boarding passes for flights originating ex-US to my phone wallet - its been like this for almost a year. It's beyond pathetic they cannot seem their pos app fixed.

Here’s a new one: the app no longer understands what the word “nonstop” means, apparently.

Thankful to find this thread after trying repeatedly on 2 iPhones. Safari and iPad working fine. Tried using confirmation number and ticket number. I hope it is fixed soon!

Spectacular and unhelpful chat with Delta app help. Read that last one out loud 😵‍💫

I don't think this is an app error but it happened while using the app, today I checked in for a flight tomorrow and now it shows up (in both the app and website) as a multi-city trip instead of a normal one-way with a connection. This means I practically can't use the in-app change flight functionality.
