iphone app errors
App all messed up for anybody else? All day yesterday if I went to my trips and refreshed it would not load anything. deleted the app and reinstalled. Then all my trips were not listed. Had to search for each manually.

Yup - same errors. Delta IT continues to suck.

What about the fact that the app is painfully slow.

My app constantly tells me my device has low memory. No other app has this issue with a brand new iPhone pro

Not quite a memory leak (iOS developer here), more than likely some functions just aren’t optimized enough or use way too much memory and they have a somewhat clumsy way to check that to prevent the app from just crashing. I had it come up in a few situations where I suspect it was a result of a bad third party library, like the credit card scanner.

I'm having the same issues today, with the Android app. Trips all went *poof*.
It doesn't become problematic for me until Thursday or Friday, when I next need to check-in. But as a minor annoyance, I suppose I'll have to check in the browser for my unlikely T120 FC upgrade. |
I also noticed that a few of the trips I booked around the time of my original post are missing the business travel badge as well as missing the RUC request. Now my hope is that upon check in I'm not met with a big problem for these trips.

Mine had flights from last week showing until about 30 minutes ago, maybe they resolved some of this. Everything looks current and correct now for me at least.

Only one of my 8 booked trips is showing in the app.
Does anyone else have to do Face ID twice in a row to log in on an iPhone? Been like that for me for months. |

anyone else having a problem where the app won’t automatically populate your name and info when booking a flight? it shows my saved travelers but not the sky miles account owner!

Middle of the night, so likely updates in progress or something, but unable to view seat maps on the app for any existing or new reservations. A generic “we’re sorry, please try again later” error occurs. Will try again tomorrow.

This is a new one - I went to check in (via iOS notification), and it routed me - via an embedded webpage in the app - to a cancellation request.

I had to reset my iPhone. Installed the Delta app and logged in.

Having problems with App. For flight check-in the little round wheel keeps going around and app will not progress to next step.
I was able to check in online (not app). and now app shows I am checked in. But unable to access other itineraries. App asked me to rate - there is not a zero star option, unfortunately. |
I’m having issues lately with the app not updating when my seat changes. It’s right on the gate screens but not in the app. I seem not to be the only one on the flight I just boarded. App seats do not match real seats.

They’re all still visible on the website, though I find it marginally functional on iOS. |
The app is majorly borked.
delta.com shows correct itineraries but I cannot get flown/completed trips to clear. Removed app, restarted, logged out, reset everything. “Last updated” now but trips are still showing from last week. again, delta web site is fine. oh, and the iPad app is also okay. |

I’d also add also useless bag tracking the last two months. Whether from the boarding pass screen, or trip details screen you are directed to the name / bag tag input rather than receiving the current status of your bags.

I'm assuming this was an app issue, but I did BOI-SLC last Thursday for an overnight trip. I didn't check any bags, but I'm sitting onboard waiting for the door to close and my phone chirps and tells me my bags are on board. Weird.
Even weirder, I'm heading back to the airport on Friday night and my phone chirps again to tell me that my bags are at the bag claim. Curious, I clicked on the notification, and the bags (or ghost bags), had gone BOI-SLC-LAX-ATL-BTR (or something close to that). |
Apparently Delta development did zero testing with this version of the app and just went with a real-live 'beta' test to customers. Have to say its the worst functionality I've seen in a couple years.

Flights tomorrow aren't showing up in the app or website (they were about an hour ago). Flights on thursday (separate PNR) show up fine.
I can see tomorrow's PNR in "my trips" on the website but not on the app. Clicking on it or manually typing in the PNR in the "find my flight" gives an error. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1cc4c69518.png apparently this isn't just me because hold times have increased while I'm waiting on hold, my flight isn't until 8:00 tomorrow so I'm going to bed and will just check it in the morning. I've already got my boarding pass. |
