iphone app errors
 
App all messed up for anybody else? All day yesterday if I went to my trips and refreshed it would not load anything. deleted the app and reinstalled. Then all my trips were not listed. Had to search for each manually.

The app works normally for me (iPhone, app version 6.7) and trips are loading. Same on my sons iPhone.

What about the fact that the app is painfully slow.

My app constantly tells me my device has low memory. No other app has this issue with a brand new iPhone pro

This. Not an IT guy, but is the issue a “memory leak”?

Not quite a memory leak (iOS developer here), more than likely some functions just aren’t optimized enough or use way too much memory and they have a somewhat clumsy way to check that to prevent the app from just crashing. I had it come up in a few situations where I suspect it was a result of a bad third party library, like the credit card scanner.

I'm having the same issues today, with the Android app. Trips all went *poof*.

It doesn't become problematic for me until Thursday or Friday, when I next need to check-in. But as a minor annoyance, I suppose I'll have to check in the browser for my unlikely T120 FC upgrade.

I also noticed that a few of the trips I booked around the time of my original post are missing the business travel badge as well as missing the RUC request. Now my hope is that upon check in I'm not met with a big problem for these trips.

the website is also painfully slow, I think it's a combination of backend goopieness and frontend cruft, not much hope for improvement

Mine had flights from last week showing until about 30 minutes ago, maybe they resolved some of this. Everything looks current and correct now for me at least.

Thought this was my old phone until I got a brand new iPhone 16 Pro and the error persisted. It is very annoying.

Only one of my 8 booked trips is showing in the app.

Does anyone else have to do Face ID twice in a row to log in on an iPhone? Been like that for me for months.

Had this happen the other day. Force quit and restarted the app not once but twice, and it magically started working again.

Middle of the night, so likely updates in progress or something, but unable to view seat maps on the app for any existing or new reservations. A generic “we’re sorry, please try again later” error occurs. Will try again tomorrow.

This is a new one - I went to check in (via iOS notification), and it routed me - via an embedded webpage in the app - to a cancellation request.
(I have screenshots)

The app appears to be acting weirder every day.

I had to reset my iPhone. Installed the Delta app and logged in.

The app seems to load all SkyMiles details correctly….but it won’t load even one single itinerary under “Trips”. I have at least a dozen trips planned. Common Delta IT…at least, get basic stuff working. This is 2025!

Any hacks?

Sounds odd, but…
see if cellular vs WiFi makes a difference… and/or if cutting ALL network (cell and WiFi) when you’re in the app - which will cause it to fault - then re enabling helps.

there is a back end service issue, maybe because they went from max 3 to unlimited upcoming trips. Look at my trip printout below:

Yep, this. Even when logged in it asks for everything about the traveler.

Had this happen to me a second time yesterday. The first time, I force quit the app and it worked fine. Yesterday, I had to use the desktop website after three tries on the app (two force quits).

I thought it was something wrong I was doing until I saw this thread.

Having problems with App. For flight check-in the little round wheel keeps going around and app will not progress to next step.

I was able to check in online (not app). and now app shows I am checked in. But unable to access other itineraries.

App asked me to rate - there is not a zero star option, unfortunately.

I’m having issues lately with the app not updating when my seat changes. It’s right on the gate screens but not in the app. I seem not to be the only one on the flight I just boarded. App seats do not match real seats.

This happened to me on Monday during an aircraft change and it seemed just about everyone was caught up in it.

I had the exact opposite problem last night: I was booking a trip for Mr. Mbluecpa and my six saved companions were all gone (my info was still available to pre-populate). An extra nice touch was that the app had a banner touting “NEW” and ability to save travel companions. :mad:

They’re all still visible on the website, though I find it marginally functional on iOS.

The app is majorly borked.
delta.com shows correct itineraries but I cannot get flown/completed trips to clear. Removed app, restarted, logged out, reset everything.

“Last updated” now but trips are still showing from last week.

again, delta web site is fine.
oh, and the iPad app is also okay.

Yeah the app is a mess since some recent update. Flights not showing up, my seat not being updated when I get upgraded from the gate list, itineraries vanishing and coming back, inconsistencies with upgrade request selections.

I get a printed boarding pass for every flight now as the app is entirely unreliable.

I can confirm all of these same issues.
esp. seat change.
United does a nicer job with these….

I’d also add also useless bag tracking the last two months. Whether from the boarding pass screen, or trip details screen you are directed to the name / bag tag input rather than receiving the current status of your bags.

Yes this here too. You can still enter the tag number manually.

I'm assuming this was an app issue, but I did BOI-SLC last Thursday for an overnight trip. I didn't check any bags, but I'm sitting onboard waiting for the door to close and my phone chirps and tells me my bags are on board. Weird.

Even weirder, I'm heading back to the airport on Friday night and my phone chirps again to tell me that my bags are at the bag claim. Curious, I clicked on the notification, and the bags (or ghost bags), had gone BOI-SLC-LAX-ATL-BTR (or something close to that).

Apparently Delta development did zero testing with this version of the app and just went with a real-live 'beta' test to customers. Have to say its the worst functionality I've seen in a couple years.

Flights tomorrow aren't showing up in the app or website (they were about an hour ago). Flights on thursday (separate PNR) show up fine.

I can see tomorrow's PNR in "my trips" on the website but not on the app. Clicking on it or manually typing in the PNR in the "find my flight" gives an error.

apparently this isn't just me because hold times have increased while I'm waiting on hold, my flight isn't until 8:00 tomorrow so I'm going to bed and will just check it in the morning. I've already got my boarding pass.
