More "comes" in the past month. And inconveniently when I needed to use them, but FA's and Sky Club folks didn't seem to care (they pull it from their side). |

OMG, the app is driving me batty this morning. I’ve logged into my family’s various accounts over the past month. Today I’m flying from STL. Mrs Dog +1 are flying from ATL. And Pup2 is flying from DAB. I’m only signed into my account yet I’m getting every single boarding notification for every single ticket.
Additionally , Pup2’s boarding pass is on my phone and is the default to show on my screen despite the fact my flight is earlier AND I never downloaded it. There should really be a way to clear the cache beyond deleting a reloading the app… like logging out. 🙄 |

My use case was that the Cigna app went haywire and I could not uninstall nor reinstall it - it was in a zombie state which nearly required a total wipe of my phone. iMazing allowed me to basically clear the app details (on my phone) and/or reinstall the app FROM my computer. SIDE NOTE - some companies will block this if you have MDM/device management on your phone. I've used it to back up my devices and selectively reinstall apps. Some times they barf, which is kind of good for your situation - like Teams thinks I have four accounts that I have zero access to - and I was able to clear that. It's $40 for 3 devices or $50 for 5 devices - and I believe those are iOS devices, not where the application runs. |

Turns out the agent mistagged the bags and that gave us a heads up to start a baggage claim. Still, these glitches shouldn’t happen. |
Version 6.8.2 is out.
First odd thing I’m seeing is that when I checked in for a trip this morning the “add bags” button was already displaying “track bags.” When tapped, it displays my baggage from my outbound a week ago, but showing the new route of flight as the trip I have tomorrow. Will look to see if that fixes itself tomorrow once bags are tagged. I was able to eventually add bags via the passenger details section after lots of taps - shows 2 pending bags now but the tracker still shows the old info. |

I found logging out and back in - or removing the app and reinstalling - fixed this for me.

Mobile App Not Working Properly
Hey everyone, for the last 2 days now me and a friend have both been having issues using the mobile app, not responding, refreshing, lagging, both on separate reservations. Has anyone else been having issues recently?

Recently I've had two separate reservations where the app would not save my meal selection in F. Had to call in both times. Both reservations utilized an ecredit but otherwise normal.

And now the app is hitting me with the same bug that numerous others have reported with getting an error message when trying to pre-select a meal.

My app today made me check in twice. First time it appeared to drop my seat assignment and displayed a standby pass without a barcode.

I've had seat assignments not appear when looking at future trips in "my trips", but that's been in both the app and website (but if I check the seatmap my seat selection is still there and when I end up checking in the seat assignment is correct on the boarding pass)

weird I had to check in nine times in their app last weekend. BP didn’t work unless I forced mobile site in safari. Never seen that. |

My going theory is that the app reserves memory and then doesn’t clear it when not needed or when logged out. The out of memory error is particular exasperating when I am managing multiple family member accounts.

Tried to make a change to the return leg of an existing US-Europe roundtrip booked with miles. App came back with a shockingly low price (and taxes quoted in GBP - this trip has nothing to do with the UK). I tried making the change but it errors out, claiming I’m logged into the wrong account. I am not.
Checked on the website, there is no such fare available (it was less than half of the originally booked price). So the app is quoting something completely wrong and unrelated to my search. Great job testing that app, Delta IT. Only the best. |
Call me paranoid, but am I the only one who wonders what house of horrors DL may be cooking up for the future? It seems like there are a LOT more IT glitches (even taking the normal poor IT into account) occurring lately. To me, that raises a red flag that they are working on “something”. And if the past is any indicator, it will likely be an “enhancement” that is not in the customers’ favor. Hopefully I am just paranoid (and wrong)…

This isn’t really an “error” as much as a really bad design decision, when I get a push notification of a gate change there is so much dumb fluff corporate-speak in the notification that I can’t actually see the gate number and I have to tap and wait for the app to do its slow-as-molasses update baloney to find out what actually changed

And not to be pedantic, and I believe I already mentioned this in the rants/least substantive thread...but the notification text for a delayed flight says something like "your flight has changed." When in reality the flight didn't change at all, just the departure time. That also sent me into a panic the first time I saw the (new) text. I guess maybe in layman's terms "delay" and "Delta changed my flight [time]" could be considered to be the same...but I digress. |
The latest release is still trash
even after logging out I cannot get rid of a completed trip. And miles are wrong. (MQD however are fine) had to delete app - again. edit - while the other platforms say (1) or (2) or whatever correct number of trips, going in to all of my trips still shows the rogue/completed journey. So it's a wider IT problem. |
