The crappy WX at JFK is supposed to start earlier tomorrow AM. Mainly winds increasing and I need to get back to NOLA so I took advantage of the WX Waiver and rescheduled to this afternoon.

I'm a little bummed to learn the longtime website Chowhound is shutting down on March 21. Don't know if any of you ever followed it, but for years it was the FlyerTalk of the food world. Long story short, I'm going to miss Chowhound, because it was the first of its kind and in its heyday, a very, very good thing.
Sad to be leaving tomorrow, happy to soon be sleeping in my own bed again. Between the rock hard mattress and the roosters, I have gotten very few good nights sleep

It was a beautiful here too. We had our first Friday cookout of the year at my office. I also found organizations to pay for two programs Im trying to fund today. I got in a nice run before dark, and now Im enjoying my last night of geo-bachelor status with a Hacker-Pschorr Mόnchner Hell.

Thanks for the notice, I'm bummed. I was an active part of CH for awhile. Similar situation to the old Gardenweb forum....the laundry and home forums were just a treasure trove of information...now it's mostly marketing crap. I'd happily pay a small fee to keep good sites running.
Enjoying the Banana thread one more time.
