Qualified for Gold in late June and Platinum on July 4 due to the timing of hitting the MQD waiver/ card MQM boost and the outbound of a transcon during that time frame.

Thank for explaining why I, too, rec'd some Gold brag tags in the mail today. Like you, I was Gold for a few weeks before hitting Plat. They are a waste, though, as nary a one has ever graced any of my luggage.

I haven't used them in over 10 years either. somebody once posted on here that they are the adult equivalent of the burger king crown.

This was several years ago. I was flying out of CDG to JFK. There was a man in front of me who looked to be a military contractor. He had Silver, Gold, and Diamond brag tags in a row for three years on his backpack. It took all I had to keep from busting out laughing.

I just wish the FT member that created the uber-elite Kryptonium tags would curate another batch! i have a bunch of these i keep in our fam. cars. They make great ice scrapers.

My friend hit Plat in the last week of October and got his Plat kit today.
I requalified for Gold two weeks later (second week of November) and I haven’t received anything yet.
