I'm going to try to leave work early today but that may not happen. Payday for me is Wednesday, and payday for Mr. Kipper is next Friyay.

This might be a good excuse for another DAY meetup:
Festival of Flight ? Celebrate aviation in the Miami Valley
There's some chance LEX DO will be that weekend too.

Also, Fred Haise Jr. of Apollo 13 is speaking over this way next week and I'm planning to attend. Here's hoping Tom Hanks, Sinise and Kevin Bacon show up as well....

Happy Saturday to all. Just realized we'll be spending about 4 hours in the MSP Skyclub this afternoon from about 1 to 5. The cold was a nice change, but it's time to get back to FL. Early Happy Mother's Day to all.

I just rescued this ungrateful, hate-filled turtle from certain doom. He looks old, and his shell is ~14 inches front to back. He’s over 20 inches head to tail.
Any biologists out there who could hazard a guess as to his approximate age?

Any updates on the beer list from yesterday? We tried to go to a baseball game, but the rain chased us away after about an hour. Had a Freetail Original Amber Ale at the game which is a solid but unremarkable amber ale. The ballpark only has Anheuser-Busch products on draft, but they do have a few local options in cans. After getting tired of the weather, we stopped at our favorite brewery for a Künstler Bearded Brewster which is an excellent blackberry stout.
Happy early Mother's Day to all!
