According to FlightAware, worldwide only four DL flights have become airborne in the past 60 minutes.

Landed at LGA on WS, but gates are occupied and managed by DL so it's a long line to wait.
Can I expect anything from DL at all? Ticket has nothing to do with DL but it's their computer issue?

My brother's father-in-law tried to arrive at LAX 2 hours before his flight to MEM for a funeral tomorrow. The traffic leading into LAX was at a dead standstill due to the protests. It took them 2 hours to get to where he could get close enough to get out of the car and walk the rest of the way, at which point it was after his flight should have departed.
He said that there are very few agents, so the lines are horrendous. I'm guessing many agents got severely delayed to get to LAX. He is now waiting to see if the flight is even going to go.
A true double whammy for anybody flying DL out of LAX this afternoon/night.

Listening to ATL Ramp Control, very quiet for this time of night. At about 9:10pm, a controller stated "we haven't had a Delta arrival or a departure in over an hour".
Southwest, American, et al seem to be coming and going like normal.

I have a cruise out of Charleston, SC tomorrow. I was thinking of a morning flight from ATL but decided to drive instead, and overnight in Charleston. Now I'm really, really glad I decided not to fly.
(Last August my outbound flight was 6 hours late, and my return flight was canceled, then my rebooked flight was canceled, then my rebooked rebooked flight was delayed, and I got home over 24 hours late.)

They made an announcement that "some systems were coming back up" so if your departure time was near/past, you should head to your gate. So 95% of the club left, to gates where I've heard a total of 2 flights in the past hour depart (both Connection).
