My brother's father-in-law tried to arrive at LAX 2 hours before his flight to MEM for a funeral tomorrow. The traffic leading into LAX was at a dead standstill due to the protests. It took them 2 hours to get to where he could get close enough to get out of the car and walk the rest of the way, at which point it was after his flight should have departed.

He said that there are very few agents, so the lines are horrendous. I'm guessing many agents got severely delayed to get to LAX. He is now waiting to see if the flight is even going to go.

A true double whammy for anybody flying DL out of LAX this afternoon/night.
