A321 Loaded in System?

I just logged in to check seats for one of my flights at the end of May and it changed from a 739 to an A321 from MCO-ATL. I didn't realize that they were going to be in service that early. Has anyone heard about what the interior is going to be like in first class?

IIRC, coach seat count may drop a bit from this press release following feedback on galley sizes of the Airbus A319/320 reconfigs. In amenities, F on a 321 is going to look like a 739 -- with a bit more width at shoulder level across the aircraft.

Yesterday, checking an itin that had a schedule change, I noticed that my JFK/CDG DL404 on Aug 8 is showing a Boeing 777-300ER!

When you try to book it, it just says - Boeing 777, but on my itin page, and on the seat map graphic page, it says - Boeing 777-300ER.

Based on the seat map for DL2018 on 5/25 (ATL-MCO) it appears we will see.

20 first class (row 1-5)
29 Economy comfort (rows 10-14 - row 13 only has 2 seats on the D-F side)
143 economy seats

So one more "money generating" C+ row than originally planned.

Yes, that's a weakness of the 18th-month old press release I linked. Layouts do change. If we go back to the original 30-aircraft A321 order from Sept. 2013, the cited layout may have been different still.

Looks like ATL-MCO will see a lot of A321's, my trip in September got switched to them both days, looking at a schedule it's A321's for 13 of 17 flights on September 19th.

They don't list any amenities for the A321 (not even WiFi), I would assume it will have AVOD given that they're even putting it on A320's now I thought I heard.

The A321s will see all ATL and Florida. I was hoping for them to replace the 739 on some transcons. It can't be worse than a 739, can it?

Yuck, wouldn't it make more sense to stick the A321's on longer transcon routes and place the older/powerless/PTV-less 757's on the short hops to Florida?

If those trans-cons include MCO-LAX & MCO-SLC, sure

I personally like having those nice planes doing the MCO-ATL hop. But I am biased.

I mean, I don't mind either, I enjoyed having one of those newly refurbished 753's on my ATL-MCO hop, but in my opinion it would make more sense to stick these new A321's on routes like MCO-LAX and MCO-SLC or even MCO-MSP than it does on MCO-ATL.

Oh God no, not ATL-MCO. This is awful. They need to keep those things in DTW and MSP. I guess I will be flying out of DAB after the invasion of those things.

Any ideas as to what routes the older 757's will be doing? I can remember when the ATL-MCO hops were routinely 767s.

Why should we get the bad aircraft, especially since our fares are generally higher?

Because that's where he Airbus' originally came from. They should bring all the 757's home to ATL. You guys threw a fit when the MD-88/90 showed at MSP so I'm just saying you guys should get your Airbus' back.
