I think it is great -- one of the better improvement made

Tried using it, when I was sitting in a EC seat two weeks ago and it did not work for some reason. It said it could not verify my seat number.

Tried last week, when I was seated in FC for all the 4 flights, and it worked everytime. Used my iPad, and the Gogo plugin was automatically downloaded from the app store. PS. I recommend watching 'The Book Thief' on Delta Studio. It's a wonderful movie!

I have only used it on domestic flights.

Am I the only one who absolutely hates the available content??? I was expecting so much more; the tv shows and movies are crap. Do they offer a wider selection on international flights?

Also, it took about 27 minutes to get it to work with my almost new iPad Air.

:td: Delta

I assume that when they say it works international it's only on flights with in seat IFE. I was on a HNL-LAX flight with no in seat IFE, because we didn't have internet access I couldn't play anything.

two attempts to use it and two successes. i used my iPhone 5 and the delta app. i was seated in FC both times.

Success for me today, although I did notice that to watch a second item on a flight in FC, you must reenter your name and seat number.

Apparently the system works if the flight has GoGo even though you don't need to pay for GoGo. Just scroll down past all the paid options.

I checked it out and didn't really understand the point of it, but maybe that's because my flight had IFE (and I'd rather use that anyway).

I agree. It's more convenient to use the IFE screen at your seat instead of juggling your own device, which of course also means that you can't use your own device for something else.

The big advantage for us will be getting access to IFE on flits that don't have AVOD.

The advantage for DL is saving the cost and weight of AVOD systems.

this. on my normal routes getting a plane with AVOD is like finding a unicorn, but studio has worked just fine for me on the MD-88s and A319s that i normally fly on.

Yup! Used DL Studio on MD-88 MIA LGA. Flight time was perfect for a movie.

On another flight, my wife used it on a B757 with AVOD (ex-Song) because the iPad's screen seems to be twice as big.

Funny how those screens seemed so big 10 years ago but now it's slightly bigger than the size of a smartphone.

Kind of sucks , here s the support list. https://custhelp.gogoinflight.com/app/home/c/73

Not included:

64 bit browsers (any)
Any browser on 64 bit windows 8
Kindles
Nooks
IE7
Windows phones
Android phones
Windows tablets
Chrome on Windows Notebook
Linux and other OS's (not even mentioned)

I travel with both a 7'' android tablet and an 11 inch notebook, so I could use the tablet. But I prefer to use the tablet as a book reader.

Exactly. Delta's IT is terrible at pretty much excluding everyone that doesn't use an Apple product.

I wish there were nice clear directions for DL Studio on delta.dumb and in Sky magazine. It would be nice to have an easy step by step list of what to do, both before the flight (ideally with links to the requisite downloads) and then on board for first time and continuing users.

Is this supposed to work on every Delta flight with Wifi? Is it only mainline aircraft?
