I'll be in SF Feb 6-10, maybe Feb 20-14 (the last of my AXONs burned), and probably one weekend in March (not 14-16), most likely 21-24 or so but it might be another or April.

Please count me in as well. ^ to mbwmbw for offering to host the gathering.
Fourteen hourly flights from 6 AM to 8 PM in either direction on weekdays, but only five flights at 9 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM, 5 PM, 8 PM in either direction on Saturdays and only twelve hourly flights from 8 AM to 8 PM in either direction on Sundays. I have a good memory, but correct me if I'm wrong
^, and the same when it comes to BART for people who don't live in the city. @:-)
For the first time, I'll be earning Starpoints at a SPG property where I can take transit to/from home.
This is going off topic, but from my experience, Dead Zones and Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Saturdays for Travel has always been a misconception. Case in point, I helped somebody find a Segment Run in mid-May leaving on Thursday returning on Friday which outside of Sundays are supposed to be the busiest travel days at ~$25/segment. I have numerous other examples, including when it comes to hotels and rental cars, but not the time or place.

If people are flying in, I'd suggest picking a spot that is walking distance or a short cab ride from a BART station.
Perhaps you can do an informal meetup for drinks and appetizers somewhere (where everyone just buys their own drinks and/or snacks) followed by a sit down meal. Some people may only be available for a short casual meetup, so they could still attend, and those that want to can stick around longer for a dinner.
What about meeting at one of the SPG hotels the Montgomery or Powell station? They give points for meals without a stay. Then walk somewhere nearby for dinner?

I'd love to attend---assuming the event does not conflict with one of my races at Tahoe.

I'd be interested in participating, depending on the date chosen.
