I have to ask ALL DM fliers..... Is it your understanding that the new "MQD" requirements in 2014 will thin the "DM" herd?

FT can handle it

Why would that be?
I think it is great that some folks here have access to manifest, FF account, and by default, credit card information, addresses etc. Like I mentioned, I will be stopping by DL HQ as I work 5 minutes from there. I have already spoken with Mr. Ned Walker who voluntarily took it upon himself to handle this problem as he gave me his business card with e-mail/cell information. I will stop by tomorrow(at least e-mail and call him) and ask him how is it that members of FT have access to this information. I will show him/send him this "thread" and see what he says. Apparently, secure data is not so secure.....but to be quite honest, a few here on FT(DM???) seem to have all the answers....so we'll ask FT for the IP addresses and act accordingly. Frankly speaking, I would appreciate a refund of the entire fare for that trip and feel free, as I give you permission, to charge back the cost of the fare. Thanks again. ^ P.S. I'll try to get you the tail # as well as I took a picture of the plane in LAS |
Oh no... I highly encourage tupolev to keep stopping by hq's lobby with complaints. Lol. Id go tomorrow, in fact...please request a refund repeatedly....you didnt buy first, but didnt get it. I think he should go now...make a sign....picket. lol

"Ned" should tranquilize all your anxieties. |

If OP didn't check for P availability before buying then it's his/her fault. (At least on UA it does, books into P, OZ, books into Z, AA, into A) |

A Y fare on many airlines gets you into F depending on availability.

M FARE WARNING: We all know that M fares purchased before March 1 get the 150% MQM bonus, no matter when they are flown. I learned today, however, that if you change your itinerary after that date (even by switching the hours of one segment) a new ticket will be issued and you will then get only the 100% bonus.
This was explained to me by a Delta CSR, who told me that if Delta makes the change without you requesting it, the 150% bonus will remain but if you ask for the change, the reduced MQMs will go into effect. This, of course, weakens one of the biggest advantages of the M fare -- its flexibility. |
I'll be waiting...

Some things take time. I will get the info. And yes....I am sure whomever he is dropping in on at hq thinks he is unstable. That isnt normal under any circumstance
I'll be waiting ....I will "take the ball" from there. It seems that you have all the answers here so we'll make sure FT is part of the proceedings as well. Your findings better match because I am not stopping here on FT......You and few others claim this "special" privilege so we will see..... |

For sure AA....you and I havent had much common ground on ft, but on this we agree. So many on FT blame the airline, but dont take responsibility for what they DIDNT do
That said, 20 of 24 available at the gate and not clearing on a full Y fare also doesn't sound right unless he's the unluckiest guy in the world. |

If he didn't check for upgrade inventory or didn't understand the rules, that's squarely his fault.

That's right.....There were 21 of 24 open when the ticket was purchased.
T-30 there were 20 of 24 available. When the GA cleared the flight, I dropped from # 4 to???????? Delta Airlines(Red Coat and GA) acknowledged a "problem". |
Alright Tupolev......can we start with the historical fare data? You claim a full Y at 1198. At the time of your purchase, an A fare was available on your itinerary for 1181 rt.
