Great story, but of course you know that you being 'cute' and charming probably had a lot to do with it, right?

AF actually UG's folks on TATL flights? Maybe I should see about flying with them to FCO (via CDG) in June.

I'm usually very good on abbreviations and acronyms, but I have no bleepin' idea what "BFUG" means. Little help please?

Battle Field UpGrade

So done at the gate as opposed to getting the magic email.

9/3 BOS-JFK T #1 of 8 for 5 seats. upgraded at gate (gave ug to my FO wife who was #8 on the list)
10/4 LGA-MSP T #9 of 17 for 4 seats. no upgrade
10/7 MSP-ATL T #14 of 47 for 2 seats. no upgrade
10/7 ATL-JFK T ug 6 days out (first domestic lie flat!)

2 for 4 with SWU. 6 segments coming up with SWU on 4 . AA looking like a possible alternative if this keeps up.

Clear 6 for 6 LAX-SFO flights earlier this year. Other than that, been all goose eggs for me.

Was 4/5 of LAX to MIA. 17/25 MIA-ATL and 14/32 ATL-LAX. I've found if I stay west of the Mississippi I am pretty much 100% on UG's - go east and it is back of the bus for me. To be honest though, 10A on the 76Q isn't a bad seat. Almost rather have that than F to be honest. Have another SFO trip coming up soon as well as LAX-MCO-ATL-LAX and LAX-ATL-RDU-ATL-LAX. We'll see how those go for me. Hoping to hit GM here soon so we'll see how much that helps my UG's. Will be PM by June, so life should get much better by then.
