What happened to Edelman's Seat Maps site?
What happened to Edelman's seat map site? I've been trying to access it for 2 days and only get the "Cannot find server" message. Has it moved or gone out of business?

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://www.benedelman.org/travel/dlseats/
The following error was encountered:
Connection Failed
The system returned:
(61) Connection refusedThe remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again.
I did access it about a week ago so it may just be a temporary problem.

Worked fine for me yesterday and today...I've been keeping an eye out on what seats are taken for my flights tomorrow. Looking forward to the red-eye on Song in the small cabin with the entire row next to me empty.

Are you by any chance checking on flights in early February? When DL.com redesigned the seatmaps on their website, I was having problems bringing up seatmaps on the Edelman site, then happydad100 started a thread pointing out that for dates lower than 10, you must now enter a leading zero into the date box (e.g., "08" will bring up a seatmap, but "8" will yield an error message). Using that method, my seatmaps magically appeared on the Edelman site.

clarence5ybr, thanks for the report. I have confirmed the problem you describe. I will fix this -- won't be hard, I know exactly how to do it. The one problem is that I'm out of the office (and hence largely unable to modify the site) for the next week. But this will be at the top of my agenda when I return. Sorry I didn't see the prior thread about this problem.
