But there are plenty of through flights such that a given flight number serves multiple city pairs. E.g. DL3789 flies SFO-SLC-DEN. So 3789 could identify a SFO-SLC segment or a SLC-DEN segment. My system can't readily figure out which of these is "right" -- which one a given user wants -- and I don't yet have a user interface for asking a user to confirm.

I've therefore disabled the auto-complete-city feature. Will work on this some more. Sorry...
bedelman. You are the best ^ Thanks for doing what you do

Ben: I tried this while you had in active on Friday night. I used DL 1700 which is a flight from PHL to LAS (stops in SLC). All I wanted was the SLC to LAS portion. It was VERY easy to simply change to "PHL" to "SLC". I'd vote to re-activate it! In fact, it was helpful for me to know that this flight originated in PHL. Most flights won't have this problem.

Shifting gears, thanks for posting the link to your info about why your site was hit. You have your irons in a lot of good issues! Nice job....

Wow, nice find! It's on my own site, yet I hadn't even noticed.

The link: http://www.benedelman.org/travel/inventory/

If the site stays up for a couple days, I'll update my page appropriately -- with revised instructions if appropriate, perhaps some fresh page layout to make it easier to use, etc.

These are the flight #s DL emailed me... will check their site for the real ones - thanks! Ok, did that - flight #s / times had totally changed - wish they'd told me...

Anyway, I still get an error occured - I can get economy seat map, but not domestic Biz/Elite.

I keep getting an error message too. Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks bedelman for making this available to us. ^

Are you changing the seating type from "Domestic" to "International/Domestic BizElite?"

You need to use the drop down menu (right after the destination city code) and select "International/Domestic Biz".

Should work then.

On another note when I try to use the Galileo tool I get a "game is up" message.

No, it's down again. Check the "Gallieo" thread on MilesBuzz for details.

Question Edelman's Availability Tool Error

I've searched (using Google) and not found any info on current problems using Ben Edelman's Availability Tool.

I've tried the tool for the last couple of weeks and gotten nothing but the "ERROR: NO VALID RESULT"?! when starting the tool.

I have used it successfully in the past. BTW - good tool (when up/working). ^

Anybody know what's up?

Thanks,
