...and by brief, I do not mean underwear.

Please use the format below for consistency purposes. Date and chronological order might be helpful as well. Thank you.

Trashed Airplane Garbage and trash filled the seats of an Airbus A332 aircraft after the conclusion of a Philadelphia Eagles charter flight from Seattle to Philadelphia last year. Photograph posted by FlyerTalk member tod701 on December 12, 2013.

This is where it goes too far to complain. Feet, bare or otherwise, placed on a tray table or shoved into your space is one thing. Merely making them visible when kept in the proper location is another. Maybe a gross choice for the individual, but how does observing feet in the floor offend any more than what you'd see at the pool, beach, etc.? Of course, if they give off noticeable odor, which is often the case, that's no more proper than poor hygiene resulting in obvious BO, which is also fair game.

Or at the very least, allow the novelty of having identifiable bear's feet but require them to be covered with these:

OK I don't have a photo because it was dark, but this is a variation on the 'foot' thing. On our flight from ATL-AUS on Sunday, a young woman in the row behind my partner had her leg stretched up on the seat in front of her with her foot (thankfully not bare) dangling over the seat (which was unoccupied).

This was just a regular old coach seat with its minimal amount of leg room. How in the name of god is this (a) appropriate, or (b) comfortable whatsoever?

I remember seeing a similar photo a while back in the DYKWIA thread. No, not appropriate at all, whether the seat is occupied or not. And no, I can't imagine that being comfortable at all. Heck, I don't even think I would be able to get my feet in to that position to begin with.

Maybe she's drying the nail polish that she has just finished applying.

I'd be really pissed if I was in 2A. That is gross and reaks or redneck behavior.

She should have used bear feet to cover them up.

This woman has her bare feet propped on her suitcase. It isn't like putting feet on surfaces others will touch, and it isn't like the close quarters on a plane with assigned seating so you can't just move someplace else if you don't like it. I don't think bare feet are appropriate but she hasn't really done anything wrong.

I was under the impression that the "dress code" of SkyClubs is intended to promote a business environment? Bare feet seem a bit out of line to me.
