Delta FA's to remain union free

We just got word that the National Mediation Board has not found any interference by Delta in the flight attendant's election. The case has been dismissed.

No other details were shared at this time.

The end is near -- no more distinction between the PMNW and PMDL FA's. ^

Not exactly one big happy family yet, especially given this headline on the AFA's press release:

NMB Refuses to Remedy Extreme Management Interference at Delta Air Lines

Full press release:
http://afl.salsalabs.com/o/4042/t/0/...last_KEY=63454

(It helps if you hum the "look for the union label" theme while you read it...as a publicist I have to guess they had 2 versions ready to go pending the decision, so they had plenty of time to get their big words in order.) And note they didn't mention the immediate pay raise they will all get (per the AJC article)

The AFA can't even be gracious about their defeat. The winey press release shows exactly why we voted against them. They're so unproffesional (IMO) are being sore losers down to the bitter end. Good riddance, let's hope they don't try for a fourth vote - ugh!
