I just experienced this for the first time too! Been a DM for a few months but I had never even heard of this perk. I was transferring from MIA-ATL-SEA and was picked up in a black Cayenne (*sp?). Very nice!

Question for the lucky ones out there who've been fortunate enough to experience this nice perk. Is this a service for Diamond & 360 passengers with tight connections only or has anyone had like a 2+ hour connection and the Porsche dropped you off at a Skyclub in your connecting terminal or something?

I have been picked up twice (JFK and MSP) and I did not have a tight connection either time. Maybe it was a slow day!

In April I got picked up at lax when I had a 3 plus hour connection. I was going from t5 to t6 so it made it more convenient

Back in 2012/13 when I was spending more $$$ and flying a lot on DL they sent a Porsche to get me pretty much every time I flew through ATL. Once when the Porsche wasn't there the driver (an awesome guy named Adnan) actually found me in the B10 SC and checked in just to see how I was doing, lol. They actually had the car there for me when I came in to the A concourse (like A21) and went out of A (like A4). Moved to AA around March of 2013 and that was the end of that, now that I'm back and only a lowly Plat (for the time being😁) no Porsche rides for me!

I've been picked up twice, once with my family. Both times the driver escorted me/us into the skyclub and checked us in.

First time in the Porsche for me today at LAX. 3 of us arrived at Terminal 6 and had connections in Terminal 5.

I was definitely not expecting this as I had over an hour and would have easily made it walking.

When I was not picked up earlier this year at JFK Terminal 2 with under 30 minutes to my connection to LAX in Terminal 4 I assumed I was simply not a big enough spender on Delta; had to really hustle that day and barely made the connection. They had picked others up on that flight although I think the others were on tight international connections and mine was just domestic. So perhaps it was that or that I was in "paid" first on both flights using a RUC today (i.e. not really paid but also not a complimentary upgrade as in the JFK connection when JFK-LAX still had secret DM complimentary upgrades).

In any case this was a very pleasant surprise this morning.

Picked up for the first time at MSP at F gates and driven to the C gates last month with a tight connection. I'm a DM and it was a nice surprise.

Don't feel bad I have yet to have the porshe experience and I've been a diamond since day one and connect through ATL, MSP and DTW a lot. I once was worried that I would miss my connection in ATL and mention it to delta assist on twitter but alas no car and I ran to the next gate where the flight departed 10mins early. I got there at the 10 min mark and watched the jet bridge begin pulling away. Another time, I was cutting it close with my connection already boarding, the gate agent came on board and asked for me by name and I thought maybe today is the day but nope he came on board to say, "no car but don't worry you'll make the flight. It's the next terminal over." The day it happens I'll be over the moon but for now I try to have longer layover and just carry on.

My flight into JFK from SEA this morning was delayed by about 40 mins or so, and when I got off the pane, an agent with my name was waiting for me. Got a nice ride in a Porsche SUV from T4 to my connection in T2. Still had a half hour to spend in the skyclub before my flight boarded.

Only time I've had it this year, since most of my connections are 90+ mins in ATL or DTW, or just direct. Was a nice touch, too bad I don't travel enough anymore to make it above PM for next year

I got a ride on Saturday in Detroit. I didn't even see the lady with the sign but my husband noticed her. She handed me a Tiffanys bag with my million mile luggage tag and gave us a lift. Very cool. ^

I just made Diamond last week, and got my first ride on Sunday this week. I was delayed into MSP, and had about 20 minutes for my connection to DEN.

I was dreading the hike from the B gates to G1, but was pleasantly surprised when I saw the man with my name on the iPad. Another DM and I got a ride in the new silver Porsche; apparently had like 150 miles on it. Made it to the connection (my checked bag did, too!), with plenty of time for a PDB.

Had my first experience this morning, it was a very nice. Late departure last night SFO-ATL red eye, was auto rebooked ATL- BUF for a later flight this morning. When I landed in ATL I was back on my earlier flight with an impossible connection of 8 minutes. (I can run fast but not that fast) I was somewhat miffed my re-booking was gone.

De-board the plane there was a guy with an electronic sign with my name, took my bag, then he took me down the stairs to a white porsche. He had new boarding pass for my connection in the cup holder "just in case" I needed it. Said he called ahead and "they were waiting for me." He carried my bag up the stairs to the BUF flight. I sat down, they closed the door and off we went.

ps- no one actually scanned the boarding pass : )
