And, if you get to put a "preferred seat" in your profile for an upgrade to first, doesn't that presume that some people would actually want to sit near the toilet?

These are actual choices, but they are under the "special meals" options, not the "seat preference" ones.

I don't recline during meal service, but have every right to. The space into which my seat reclines is MY space, not yours. If you have a problem, recline your own seat.

Next time your on a domestic 75 in F, please, please choose either seat 7C or 7D and you will see what I am talking about.
I don't know what was worse, only having one meal selection to choose from (they started from the front of the plane) or having a constant vibration in my seat from the toilet flushing.
The FA actually said to me, "how does a million miler, DM like you wind up in row 7 in First class?
