Currently D1 pricing - $650.

I'm seeing $75 for this Thursday night's late DCA-RDU on a CR7. Flight is currently F3W3Y3H1. At $340 for the current price the one-way, I don't think they'll be selling more tickets given that the later AA flight on an ER4 is $134.

JFK-ATL, $246, seatmap shows only 4/16 F seats occupied.
What are they thinking?

Or, on a gate display, BAR/P.

I'm going to SEA in three weeks; I chose a routing through CVG as it was the cheapest and got me to SEA before 11 am. My cheap X/V fare was $361 all in. It turned out that the first three rows of F were shown as occupied (I think there are a couple of cruises leaving SEA the next day). I got an FCM offer for something like $440 one way; then, about two days later, they dropped the price to $266, and I decided to grab it.

They want over $600 for an upgrade on the redeye 757 SEA-ATL and 321 ATL-DCA. The higher the FCM price, the better chance I have of getting upgraded (I saw this phenomenon when Delta wanted over $1,400 to fly on the inaugural D1 flight DCA-LAX, and with 3 unsold seats I got to use an RUC).

SEA-PDX next week. FCM offer of $262.50 one way.

That's enticing, but no.

Don't you mean Frank Barney?

JFK-DCA for $52.68 r/t. I still think I'll take my chances on the UG.

How have I never received an upgrade offer in my whole Delta life? Do you have to opt-in?

CHOPCHOP767 Sep 6, 2017 3:59 pm

BOS -> RIC is $87 with 9 open seats. I've gotta love DL for trying, but this is one of the only domestic flights I've been on this year that routinely has empty seats in F and C+...

$87 for the upsell? I remember booking an A fare on this route for $89 one way back in May.

CHOPCHOP767 Sep 7, 2017 6:14 am

It was up to $114 before my upgrade cleared at the window :D

I'm seeing worse FCM deals these days, $365 each way JFK-LAS-JFK and one leg literally has no one in FC. Then today $96 for ORD-LGA (this route used to be $50 FCM each way last year).

First, they get you hooked. Then, they jack up the price. ;)
