I would have enjoyed this. Anyone who is or was offended should seriously get a life, it's election season.

Oh and don't worry there will be a lot less Democrats around anywhere to disrupt travel after Tuesday. ;);)

I assure you that the results of the election will have zero effect on travel disruptions. Oh, yes, the word is "fewer".

Inappropriate and unprofessional.

On a personal note, I don't believe that businesses should be allowed to have a "partisan" voice. They certainly should have a voice on policy issues, particularly as they affect their industry. I just don't believe that a private company, such as JimRPACo, should be allowed to say "Democrats and Republicans suck - the Great Spaghetti Monster Party Rocks!".

Second, I don't know of any other Democrat in office today that can and does routinely screw up air traffic when he travels as much as this one. I have been victim of this on more than one occasion this year.

Huh? The president does indeed screw up travel more than any other elected official whenever the president travels. What does that have to do with the party?

Indeed! ^

This whole incident was clearly caused by George W. In before the lock.

Read what the OP said again. If the quote is correct the pilot did not "remind everybody to vote". He tried to influence how the passengers should vote. Totally inappropriate.

Regardless of one's politics, there are so many brain dead idiots out regurgitating what they hear that having a rational discussion is sad.

If one wants to force me into one by starting it in a captured environment, then I will end up leaving twits on both sides red faced and blabbering. It is really easy to pull the trigger on the clowns.

The pilot was dead wrong, unless he was just trying to make a joke. In which case we had to be there,

Well I was there, and it was not amusing.

you need a funny bone transplant

gelaro Oct 30, 2010 7:12 pm

Seriously? Shouldn't this go over here?

Someone here needs a serious chill pill.

And a sense of humor.

koreanair720 Oct 30, 2010 7:17 pm

i guarantee everyone who is telling OP to "chill out" is doing so for partisan reasons.

why don't they try to imagine if the captain's jab had been aimed at republicans?

o'reilly's talking points memo would be about this on monday.
