Assume thats sarcasm ok well that comes with some of the territory here I suppose.
Its really quite simple WOH points are generally thought to be worth 1.7 to 1.8 per point
so I suggest to all just do the simple math.Decide for yourself
When a room is 20,000 in redemption points and the cash rate is 153.00 dollars there is a real problem IMO in any given program.

Not so much sarcasm as a cheeky suggestion that the consensus value is no longer reasonable and may be in the process of testing a new, lower level. I had actually edited my post suggesting I'd like to see 2 cents of value based on alternatives to transferring points to Hyatt, although when that implies 25-30K points on a room I'd never actually pay $500-600 for, my own expectations are probably worth revisiting as well.

At least with Bilt its really designed with loyalty program partners in mind.
One of the individuals in charge there @ The Bilt program came from Starwood,Jet Blue and IHG and had been involved
in the loyalty space for many years.
There target audience is the younger generation getting them entrenched before they go onto home ownership.
2 cents a point at least in hotel programs has been getting tougher to achieve of course always some sweet spot exceptions exist in almost every program
More and more as these programs get crazy with devaluations I am doing cash back more frequently @ 2% & 3 % return
Cash still king when all else fails with program dysfunction & excessive devaluation.

Bilt doesn't have amazing earnings, but it has a niche in allowing you to get points for payments that traditionally go points and cashback-free - Like rent. That alone with no annual fee is a VERY good value proposition. No reason to NOT have it.

The only reason not to have the Bilt Card is the lack of helpful customer service I've personally experienced.
Otherwise fully agreed.
We are not dealing with Chase, Citibank or even do I dare say American Express not even close
I spoke with someone yesterday @ Wells Fargo Executive liaison dept the other day sharing feedback about the card and customer service.Oddly related or unrelated I received an email from the CEO
Assume its a typical form letter that every cardholder receives. Can anyone share if they received this as well?

"I’d love to hear your thoughts so far on Bilt Rewards and any ideas for things we can do to make it even better.
I promise we’ll take your feedback seriously and that these ideas will shape the future of the program.
You can just reply to this email with any thoughts.
And if you had any specific feedback about the Bilt Mastercard that you wanted to share with Wells Fargo, you can call them"

I haven't received that email.

After approval (via email), is there a chance that they will overnight/expedite the card to me so I have it in hands before a trip I am about to take?

Call and you will find out soon enough.Even Citibank won’t do that now and their CS is decent or better than average
Go in with low expectations and in my own experience this is likely the worst customer service experience you can find
.They designed a solid unique card with good loyalty partners and that’s where it ends imo
Hopefully they assist but I would be very surprised

My card arrived three days after applying online with no special handling requested.

Thoughts on the June Rent Day promo? Feels kind of underwhelming tbh.

As long as they continue to double points on Rent Day, that's good enough for me.

Update - Contacted Bilt and they were able to resend my email for the welcome promotion. Apparently, I was enrolled in the promotion but hadn't received the email. So if you don't get the email i advise reaching out to make sure you aren't already enrolled and missing out on your 5 days without knowing it.

I have had to contact their customer service twice already. Once for this and once for a declined charge before I got the card. It was related to two larger charges back to back, so it triggered the fraud alert. But every time I have contacted them, I reached a person instantly and they were able to get me to the people I needed to speak with quickly and get everything resolved.

So far their customer service has been stellar!

========================================

Received the card yesterday on Rent Day. Was able to pay some items to max out the 10k offer, but I still have not received the welcome email with the 5x for five days. Hoping I am targeted and it shows up soon. But wondering what causes some to get it and others to not. My card came via USPS, but it seems others have received theirs via UPS that got the WO/SUB.

I started using my card through apple pay same day I was approved and wonder if that was a mistake. Maybe the welcome offer is to get people using it quickly. But sure there are many reasons.

Would love to get feed back about other's experiences with getting and not getting the 5x five day offers.

Anyone else getting the “log into Evolve” error?

Making my usual rent payment via PayPal and I’m getting a prompt to log into Evolve, which of course is impossible.

A friend who also got this error was told by Bilt CS to delete the Evolve account in PayPal and re-add it, selecting Wells Fargo as the bank this time.

I did this, however the account still auto-populates as Evolve and I’m still getting the error when attempting to send payment.

I transfered some points to Hyatt. I had the points deducted once and credited twice. I plan to let them know after I complete the stay I needed the points for so that this does not go sideways on me.

But, is there some promotion on either end? If so I'd move all my points to Hyatt. Or, is Bilt incorrectly listed as a double your points hotel or something instead of a transfer partner. I know it's probably a one time error but one can dream.

Do you have enough Hyatt points to cover your stay even without the extra points? Because if they got clawed back Hyatt might cancel your stay...

That said, I've had this happen once before and nothing ever came of it, and I definitely didn't tell anyone about it. So I'd just be quiet and hope you get to keep them, but not count on it.

Yes. I almost always have between 0 and 999 Hyatt points so I transfered the whole redemption.
