What a joke. The card doesn’t cover fees charged by Spirit. There is a list of airlines that are covered that does not appear in the card program rules book. Keep this in mind if you fly Spirit.

Taxes from Delta award travel (2 international tickets so they ate up the full $100) were reimbursed on my DW's card.

What is award travel? How do you use it to get refunded?

We redeemed skymiles for 2 award tickets. We paid the taxes (which were more than $100 combined) on those 2 award tickets using the card. A credit totaling $100 was issued in the statement corresponding to those charges for the taxes on the award tickets.

How long did it take for the credit to post? I booked award travel on CM with UA miles, came to $80 in taxes, it's been 10 calendar days with no notice in the BofA app.

Did it just post to your statement at the end of the billing cycle?

After reading that many people were reimbursed after purchasing a $100 AA eGift card, I finally bit the bullet and tried my luck. I purchased it on 10/29, and it posted on 10/31. Today is exactly a week after the purchase date, and the BoA app still doesn’t show any incidental credit used up.

Update: Finally showed up in the app on 11/6. Not sure why it took so long.

Update 2: Woke up 11/7 and saw the $100 credit with a post date of 11/6.

I'm guessing you meant 11/5, but thanks for the data point. I also pulled the trigger last week (10/31) and have been waiting for either the app or account to recognize the credit. I will continue to be patient!

Charges posted on 10/16 and the credits totaling $100 were issued/posted on 10/18. The total for taxes for each ticket was $58 and change so I'm not sure if it's perhaps an amount threshold issue or airline issue (DL v. UA). The way the credits show in the statement are two line items underneath the two line items for the charges on the taxes:

"CARD TRAVEL CREDIT THANK YOU" $58 and change
"CARD TRAVEL CREDIT THANK YOU" $41 and change
