The galley FA on my flight last week filled all of the mugs with hot water to warm them before pouring in the coffee. Nice touch...I guess it helped.
This is actually what we are trained to do... the half day they actually devote to F service in training, as opposed to the other 4 1/2 weeks we spend on safety/security...

That is the only reason we would ever allow First Class passengers to eat out of the tin foil dish. Next door's dog eats off better than that.

One afternoon for F service? No FA with us is allowed to serve in First Class with under 2 years service or special training.

LOL, but I haven't been off mainline in quite some time. We do have some larger planes here at the hublette.

What routes? Cookies are only on breakfast/lunch flights that are of around 1,500-1,600 miles or so in length. Even IAH-EWR, at just over 1,400 miles, doesn't get them. IAH-SEA, on the other hand, does.

The last time I had them was CLE-LAS and back (1825 miles), but I've also been on other routes that got them in the past.

Flew EWR-SAT last Sunday night, ended up with a Coke Zero from Japan, J-League logos and everything. Thought it was pretty interesting.

My flight yesterday from Vancouver (YVR) to Houston (IAH) had cookies. :-)

My flight from Houston (IAH) to Austin (AUS) last night served a drink and US Airways Fiesta Mix.

In US branded packaging? That is a screwup!

Yes, in US Airways packaging.

I laughed about it with the flight attendant. He responded by joking that they must have been free. I then responded by saying that he must have never flown US Airways. Nothing is free. :-)

I ran ito this once a while back. Clever FA opened the bags and poured the nuts into cups to mitigate the damage.

I have had lots of issues with special meals this year--they weren't loaded. I sent a message to CO Insider and assumed he did something about it, as the problem went away. However, I took my first flight on CO in a while last Monday and they failed yet again.
