I am thinking that I will go to LHR either on the EWR day flight on Friday or overnight, then take BD to BRU. MAN and BHX would be good, as well, but involve Avros to BRU. Decisions, decisions.

I am on BD that Friday from LHR-BRU

Yeah, I am lazy, but what is the current count? BRU is a cheap weekend ticket from either ZRH or CPH, so I might have interest...

I'm leaning towards a 3:30 or 4:30 departure. I figured that would give 6-8 hours or so in Paris. I'll email you the details when I finally get around to deciding. :)

I think we're up to 6 or 7 confirmed right now - it's in post #3. There are a few others that seem to be looking at tickets.

4 nights booked at Brussels Marriott.

Current fares rules, book by 12/31, 7 day advance purchase.

But flights from EWR-DCA are booking up (inauguration). So for 2 may need to route through CLE to DCA. But this might be better way to get out of EWR anyway. Planning sights in addition to pubs.

Cheaper to fly DCA-LHR, then buy ticket from LHR-BRU, but likely not worth the hassle.

Plane tickets booked.

Itinerary is as follows:

1/15 - IAH-EWR - CO152
1/15 - EWR-CDG - CO56

1/19 - BRU-EWR - CO61
1/19 - EWR-CLE - CO325
1/19 - CLE-IAH - CO1645

Will be booking Thalys ticket this evening.
