Will be booking tomorrow. Christmas Bonus this year was in check form, not direct deposit, so gotta wait for it to clear...

I probably will either do DCA-EWR-BRU//FRA-EWR-DCA, or DCA-EWR-MAN or LHR, take BD to BRU, then do FRA-EWR-DCA. Two or three new FM lines, trying a new carrier, and burning a GUV sound increasingly tempting.

Not sure when or if I'll book. The prices are a little high for me to justify it but I am exploring some creative routings to see if I can get it to work.

LUX and the F50 were more tempting than burning the GUV. :D

I hear you. But, I've already been to LUX and have taken the F50 and EWR-LHR/MAN, as well as MAN-BRU, would be new FM lines (and MAN would be a new dot).

Then that is definitely more tempting for you. ;)

All three lines will be new for me (EWR-LHR, LCY-LUX, BRU-EWR) and LHR, LCY, LUX and BRU are all new airports. Plus the F50 as a new airplane type. :D ^

Try DUB connections. They were looking decent at various points.

Also look at LHR connections. CO is offering DCA-LHR for $358+tax (about $150 for tax). And this allows a DCA-IAH-LHR routing for the same price as DCA-EWR-LHR.

Not bad.

IAH-AMS/BRU-IAH = $638 a/i
IAH-AMS/LHR-IAH = $625 a/i
IAH-AMS/FRA-IAH = $606 a/i
IAH-AMS/ZRH-IAH = $599 a/i
IAH-AMS/MXP-IAH = $547 a/i

DUB isn't a cheap option to IAH (only for East-Coasters).

I've fallen behind a bit on updating post #3 with people's hotel and flight arrangements. If you'd like your info added to that post, please PM me the details or post here again and I'll update.

Also, I'm thinking of meeting up for dinner before the official pub crawl begins on Saturday evening. I'll post some sort of a schedule later this week. Anything on Friday night or Sunday afternoon can be more impromptu - although it sounds like a day trip to Bruges is the thing to do on Sunday.

I am finally ticketed. UA managed to find an unused tix I had so that was a xmas treat.

I get in Saturday morning from MUC and I'm flying out Sunday morning since I need to be on the west coast on the 19th.

Save money of the flight!! Save it for beer.

Want to start a list of favorite Belgian Beers? Style if you know it?
