Wow, was that ever a night of sleep that I really bloody needed. Everything went well yesterday, and I was able to secure a savings of more than $80 on the stuff I picked up at Home Depot (for icurhere2's edification). Hooray for Lowe's coupons...:D

I updated one door lock last night and will do the other two this morning. I acquired the Kwikset Smartkey locks so I can key them myself. It was far easier to install than I had imagined. Except for that moment in bad lighting where I confused the grease in the deadbolt for chocolate from the cookies my wife had made. Thankfully I did not taste it. :o

All my buddies who are here (still single, stay up all night) are passed out so I'm taking this opportunity to update the Box and to take care of a few quiet tasks, like reading up on the thermostat and gas fireplace operation. Thankfully the previous owner kept a book of all the manuals and maintenance done on the house.

A few more hours at work. Then I get to drive to Sears to pick up my new pressure washer. It was a bit of a premature purchase since I only use it for cleaning the boat...but it kind of made me feel like spring is on its way by buying a replacement. Of course used OPshopping for 10x miles. :)

I bought my snow blower in August like everyone else around me.

I found a small programming guide but it refers to a manual like that, so I'm still on the hunt. What I really need to find, though, is the instructions for reprogramming the keypad for the garage door opener.

It was 0 here this morning as well. The best thing about it is the trees look beautiful in the morning sun - sparkling with frost. Good thing I fly back to TX tomorrow morning :)

Yep......CLE is COLD. Dogs didn't even want to go outside this morning. ANd when we walked they did the old "lift up the lame paw to show you that it's too cold to walk" thing.
