My parents bought their house in 1976 -- today was the last party at the house. We had 65 people for dad's after-funeral party, and everyone said that they wanted to go to the house one more time. Tonight, after 34 years (I lived there for 13 years), the house will not have my family's parties any more. That is seriously heavy, but we went out with such a great event, that I feel good about the way this is ending. Best party ever without booze... :)

Very nice way to go out . . .

Plus1's brother lives in his parent's house and we all have a tough time spending holidays, etc. there. It's great to have the happy memories; tough when there is the missing link.
