I have a friend that retired in panama and trains service dogs there now, he then gives them to soldiers at walter reed. he was in the IT sector, doing a job a lot like me.

Glad I waited. Glad I had a baby in my 40's. Proves that "life" begins at 40! :D

I will lend power to teh over 40 crowd... :D

Notice my early / early retirement possibility has me working, teaching one course at a time (rather than a full load).

Me too, as stressful as it can be some days, I love it, and it keeps my brain going. without my brain going I feel all depressed.

Of course, I am willing to do anything as work, even dig ditches if I have too.

Nice to give to the Wounded Warriors - we're able to help some at my work location.

Plus we can then add more people to the pictures (as background) and sell more for WE CARE.

Here are some ideas I have brainstormed:
-using flight memory map "Where is the World is Carmen San Diego"
-standing in front of a Shipley's donut counter
-Gate Lice pushing baby in stroller, someone in a wheelchair, etc aside
-in a bulk head row: Person of Size, Elite customer and Person with a service dog

I hope you are keeping a running log of all of these ideas. I guess the big question will be what we are allowed to do.

Helicopter parent. Big problem for colleges and employers these days.

I'm glad I don't have any direct contact with the students at work except one who seems very well adjusted.

Tonight, after 34 years (I lived there for 13 years), the house will not have my family's parties any more. That is seriously heavy, but we went out with such a great event, that I feel good about the way this is ending. Best party ever without booze... :)

Those are great memories.
