LMAO

"It's an arbitrage game," said Seth Miller in the Red Carpet Club at O'Hare. "Buy cheap and redeem high." A boyish consultant with perpetual bedhead, Miller last fall cashed in 95,000 miles (a relative pittance) for a diving expedition in the Philippines, sandwiched between a stopover in Seoul and a long weekend in Toronto. His smirk concealed trade secrets.

BNA is fine with snow - although one runway is closed, there are two more parallel ones plus a third massive (> 11,000 feet) crossing one. BNA used to be an AA hub with tons of capacity; we have one concourse that isn't even used anymore (Concourse D).

sbm12's hair is low maintenance, I'd imagine. Helpful when spending multiple nights on aircraft, heh. And for the record, though I did not spend a lot of time with The Wizard, I have met him and did not find him frog-like in the least.

G'morning, Box. Lie flat coach was quite restful last night. I'm sure I won't be happy around 8pm when I'm still at work but things seem pretty good thus far. Plenty of drama this weekend, some of which will never be repeated in public, but a great series of flights and fun to start off earning for the year.

Glad you got the lie flat. You'll repeat in private though, right?:)

Does anyone know a better airline tie-in with Hertz for a one-day rental other than the 1,000 VS miles (as BD is no longer an option)?

I think I figured out the bullfrog comparison. It's not meant maliciously, and it's kinda funny if you think about it.

CO usually has specials, but my Hertz spend goes toward Marriott usually, thanks to the discount.

I thought it was pretty funny that three of the six people mentioned in the article are from the Box. :D

On a related note, I read some sort of motivational tip a while ago that said "don't just resolve to get in shape...sign up for a specific date to do something." I know lots of you are marathon types and this is not even close to your league, but...any boxers between NYC and Philly interested in finding a 5K somewhere in our neck of the woods? Maybe in April or May?

(My other general, non-New-Year's, resolution was to try to incorporate more socializing into my life that wasn't primarily based around either eating or a sitting-still activity. Here's hoping.)

Great job with the gym but sorry you dropped the bar on your foot - OUCH!
