Sorry to hear that. The more I read about it, the more interesting a destination it becomes. Other than noting its presence on country lists, my only other exposure to it was a brief special advertising section in an in-flight magazine (KQ, IIRC).

Just started reading the CN article about the Star Mega DO. Any idea which FTer this is?

Commuting between Tel Aviv and Buenos Aires...the cynical historian in me says that's got Nazi hunting written all over it.

Someone else mentioned a get together at the EWR PC sometime soon.

I suggested a meeting at teh EWR PC for an ita training DO*. I proposed Jan. 31 and I think it worked for a few others also.

* I am in need of training, I am not the trainer :-:

Thank you for your support. Yeah, a few inaccuracies, but it's not a bad article all in all.

I never really paused to ponder whether or not you resemble a bullfrog. If I'm staring at you at the CNT Do, that's probably what I'm thinking.

And what's da word?

At least two days to even get a transmission, as Jasper doesn't even re-manufacture equipment for my car. I'm literally riding the bus to work tomorrow and probably Thursday.

My old institution had a partnership with one of the Gambian universities - we sent experts abroad each summer.

Previous to that article, my chin never got any special attention.

From the looks of things Friday may be a Non-essential employee stay@home day
I'm Hoping US throws up a weather waiver(soon), otherwise it may be harrd for Mr. Wind to get out on Friday, though that would mean missing The Mule show at The Ryman on Thursday Nite

I would like to be in the $250-$275 range for about 7K EQM'S. I will keep checking tonight, but I am not teh master of finding MR's. I still have my learners permit :-:

I will check for flights departing from either EWR, HPN, LGA or god forbid "JFK". If departing from HPN, we can park on belynch's lawn and he will shuttle us to teh airport with his moped:-:

It was the first thought that crossed my mind.

That works for me.....I think we may want to drive all the way in since I don't know what time street parking opens up in Jersey City near the PATH station on a weekday.

Brituchenite, are you riding with xyzzy or should we pick you up on our way past Metuchen?

Must ......book.....MR.......

The only booking I have in my 'upcoming flights' section is a reward to BOG that I booked for my cousin and his wife. Ms. GadFly and I are planning our trip to see Mom & Dad GadFly and spend a couple days in Vegas but I haven't gotten approval on the vacation time yet.....and the prices keep changing

I can't decide if the quality issues are from the rendering on my laptop, the conversion on YouTube or something else. I'm going to try again on a different computer when I get home and see if it is any better.

Looks like someone had his electronic devices turned on while under 10,000 feet.....don't you know that interferes with the plane's navigation?

Forget the "it" bag. Dior called on the chic women of the world to ditch their handbags for a truly useful accessory: the riding crop. The models, in skirt suits of fine red and gray wool, wearing veiled top hats and lace-up boots with towering heels, were all carrying whips.
