Steph3n churning butter, and the only cool photo would be rolo doing something like This

So, I am hosting a dinner party in a few days, and I need some help with the menu...

A couple of the people coming are "fishetarians", but my very pregnant wife is right now having a fish and seafood aversion, so we cannot serve any type of those.

I guess that leaves a vegetarian dinner, but being a proud Argentinian, I have no idea how to plan a vegetarian menu!

Also, since a couple guests are diabetic, it would be great if not everything is carbs...

Any help from the gourmands here will be appreciated!!!

Fish the only option? What dont they eat?

Have you ever known the wrath of a pregnant wife when you tell her that SHE is the one that should adapt?!

I would cry too if it happened to me! :(

This one sounds great! I guess you are not supposed to hammer the eggplant with a tenderizer like you would the meat, right? :p

Thanks a lot!

I know a lot of people that salt eggplant to draw out the water so it doesnt water down what they cook. Egg Plant tends to be meaty is that what you will be eating? Risoto is nice too but if you are taking the time to make for them, you might as well make for everyone. Also a rice stuffed squash would be nice too!

I am really cross today. There is another round of head lice in LittleMissBrit's classroom, and she has picked up the nits again. Why don't these parents keep their kids home until they have picked out the nits instead of sending them to school to infect everyone else. Several of the girls were sent home today.

Aaaaaaaaaaaargh. Just spent 5 hours picking out nits from her hair, which is long, thick and wavy.

That is very close to what I wanted to do (my prunes or figs stuffed pork loin with honey-mustard and dark beer, with root vegetables, since asparagus makes some people smell funny, but I digress...) but the pork has been vetoed by the fishetarians! So HELP!

Cook the fish anyways and grill something else for the missus.

I don't know if SMB12 or myself are the correct photographer for this. Doesn't mean we couldn't try. ALCO as Costume??? Well it would be funny. As for make up.

New photo but of course with baglady's permission since she's in the top 12. A group photos of the cougars w/ their eye candy. As consulting editor Scott6067, it will be your responsibility to find the proper eye candy for the photo.

I thought a lot of it's caused by girls sharing brushes and stuffs. Well at least that's what they told us when I was in 4 grade. See above photo and tell her she'll get icurhere2 and rolov's hair cut next time so it won't happen again.

I have never done a pure MR either, but I take crazy routings for work trips. once I went to GRK-IAH-FLL-IAH-SFO-IAH-GRk for less than GRk-IAH-FLL-IAH-GRK

Did I miss a memo? What kind of issues are people having with redemptions?

Mixed-cabin rewards now always price at the highest level being redeemed, even for a very short segment. Previously it was the longest segment rule. There are also reports - though confirmation is spotty - that no mixed cabin rewards are possible at all which would suck in many cases. Those are the main issues that have raised the ire of the folks earning miles.

I've got 3x GEG runs that week in April when we are going (I go back 2x after the one on sat/sun with you) and I'm really not sure if I should credit to CO or BD.

Also, if anyone is having trouble finding a copy of the article I have a PDF copy. I'm not posting it online for the whole world because I do actually believe in copyright to a reasonable extent but I'm happy to share directly for folks who want to see it. Email me (wanderingaramean {near} millerworks.net) and I'll forward it to you.

I think you know my thoughts on that (if you're in the area, it's not inconvenient, you want the status / perks, and will already have a car).

Car shouldn't be an issue if I go through with this...Hertz has a rate of $14.79 for Saturday night

Alamo has a $10 weekend night rate
