There was a heater in my bedroom that wouldn't shut off. It was so hot, that I had to run the air conditioning the whole weekend.

Is that under the room type or some place else?

It's under room details for my reservation. It wasn't there before and showed up after I added my Marriott Rewards #.

Yeah, they may have put you on the concierge floor which gives you access to the lounge, if it is open. But, if you're Marriott Gold or Platinum (you're Gold if I remember right) you get that no matter what floor you stay on.

Sorry, General Members don't get suite upgrades. :p

If I miss any upgrades after you go to the AUS DO, I'll know who to blame...

Dear sdm1130,

Due to recent changes to the Starwood Preferred Guest Program you will no longer be eligible for upgrades to best available room at check in, including select standard suites. Should you have any questions or comments please become Expedia Elite Plus then call us back.

My local Barnes & said that the CN issue will not be available until the 26th. I'm thinking that such info is Erroneous.

I stopped at Barnes & - they had too many copies of the Jan issue left. They likely want to sell those first.

I have an upcoming stay at a FS Marriott this weekend Sat-Mon. Under Room Detail, Special Benefits it shows only:

Special Benefits
Complimentary business services

So my MR Plat status isn't pulling up lounge access - but I will get it.

I check several other upcoming and nothing shows in Special Benefits.

I suspect it is not due to Elite status - but the rate you booked. Might see things like breakfast, free parking, etc - if those items are normally extra but included in the rate. Might include gift cards, etc as well.

I don't need my upgrades at check in; I get them at least a week in advance. :p

How is that Expedia Elite Plus working out for you? Did you get the wild boar transfer to your gate at PRG?

Waldorf-Astoria Trianon Palace said they referred my concerns to the appropriate departments.
