Charcoal ^ Gas

They both have their applications. I enjoy gas for grilling purposes and charcoal/wood for barbecuing.

So, I am hosting a dinner party in a few days, and I need some help with the menu...

A couple of the people coming are "fishetarians", but my very pregnant wife is right now having a fish and seafood aversion, so we cannot serve any type of those.

I guess that leaves a vegetarian dinner, but being a proud Argentinian, I have no idea how to plan a vegetarian menu!

Also, since a couple guests are diabetic, it would be great if not everything is carbs...

Any help from the gourmands here will be appreciated!!!

Roasted pork loin with asparagus, seasoned carrots, and a nice salad. Pork is light like fish and won't be a bloody mess which turns some people off to beef (and yet makes others of us salivate).

That is very close to what I wanted to do (my prunes or figs stuffed pork loin with honey-mustard and dark beer, with root vegetables, since asparagus makes some people smell funny, but I digress...) but the pork has been vetoed by the fishetarians! So HELP!

Find guests with better taste in food? ;)

Your wife may have to put some VapoRub under her nose. Sounds like some of sea creature is inevitable.

Making this dish in my home (or seeing it consumed) would make me cry but ...

Can't find the one of me with the M-60 right now, so this repost will have to do.

M203 is far better than M60, although it is very difficult to argue the virtues of 147gr FMJs. :D^

I'm going to start one more two-day Hyatt run either tomorrow night or Friday night. This sets me up for the following:

Trip A - CHI
1 night in HR ORD on a $49 rate and almost 6,000 GP points (and free breakfast and such)
2 FFN nights in PH ORD

AND (not OR) a second trip

Trip B - WAS (?)
2 FFN nights either in PH WAS or HR Chesapeake Bay

Nwa.com for the next 1.5 weeks if your trip starts / ends in the U.S.?
