I'll be able to see if UA's IRROPs handling is as good as they say it is...

IME it is good if you are a UA elite, not as good if you are not. At least you have the free wifi at ABE, though as I recall there isn't much else to do beyond security there.

What routing/price did you end up getting?

IAH-FRA-PRG-FRA-IAH. 744s and a 06:00 departure from PRG.

Also, Steph3n, you could book out of DFW if you want. Fare sale extends to there, as well, and it's an A340.

Looks like most people are coming in late Friday or Saturday so I changed my ticket to spend Friday in London and will land in PRG at 10pm Friday night.

ALCO, is it easy to navigate public transportation in PRG after 10 pm? I will be staying near the Sheraton.

The metro should still be running until fairly late. I didn't even bother with trams most of the time, as it was only a 15-20 minute walk from the Sheraton to Old Town Square.

I'll look into it, what happens this next 2 weeks will determine if I can attend or not, I have some papers signed and sent in just now....I may end up making weekly flights to miami for the next 4 months.

No status with UA, so that should be fun. There seems to be plenty of ORD-MSP availability later today, so I'm not too concerned.

They will rebook you automatically, which is nice. If you want changes to that you should probably ask at the RCC. Note that the RCC by the CO gates (low B gates) is closed for renovations, but you'll be coming into the F terminal anyway.

No auto rebooking yet, but it's probably just too early. I'll just deal with it at the RCC (if needed) when we get to ORD.

When do they unblock?

I prefer the bulk head myself. no one in front of you leaning into you. Of course watch out for the new plane too as the outside seats will be harder to get in and out of

New Plane???? and why harder?

If it stays fairly open I may opt for the middle section for longest part and try to switch to Window for Take-off and Landing

You may try calling in and asking for the bulkhead as they are sometimes saved for handicap but you can get them early sometimes.

I may try that

So I walked over to our company breakroom to get an apple juice out of the drink cooler. Everything was shoved to once side to make room for the keg that was brought in for tomorrow's Christmas party.

I love this company. :D

Howdy B:rolleyes:x:

Am tired from a sleepless night. As I have gotten older, teh  seems to preclude sleep from time to time. When I was younger, nothing could stop me for lounging in such sweet state of unconsciousness!:)

We will likely be in HNL using FFN's at HR Waikiki.
