I may need to go buy more beer. It seems to have worked but this is the last one I had in the fridge.

Tonight I'm experimenting w/ food. Improvised Cottage Pie (Shepherds pie w/ hamburger instead of lamb) It was a bit weird mashing potatoes with a fork. No real garlic so garlic powder. Used frozen veggies. No flour so I used a sprinkling of Bisquick and had to substitute plain left over spaghetti sauce for the tomato paste.

I'm having a nice bowl of crockpot beef stew and the turkey (14+ pounds) will be done in ~2.5 hours.

I have some great $4 wines in stock here. Even have a few $3 wines in stock here (thanks to Trader Joes in GA and the tax rates in the State of Indiana).

Yes, I made choc chip pancakes (w/Bisquik) this morning -- am definitely son's 'favorite' mom, now!:D :-:This is becoming a daily occurrence -- he went to school & bragged about it, yesterday -- he has lots of envious friends!;):D

Hello Accurate. Welcome to the dark side. It turned out pretty well. The only real issue was the cheese. I only had cheese with hot peppers which made it a bit spicy and I just too much of it so it formed a solid crust on which made it slightly difficult to fork fulls properly proportioned of the layers.

I like making meals that cover many days in the winter. However, I don't use the item for too many consecutive meals. For instance, Sunday brunch is another steak, eggs, and either asparagus or pineapple.
