I hear ya -- it's esp. important for me since I have a teenager with a big & constant appetite, here!:D;) So, honestly things don't last all that long these days!;)

Hello Accurate. Welcome to the dark side. It turned out pretty well. The only real issue was the cheese. I only had cheese with hot peppers which made it a bit spicy and I just too much of it so it formed a solid crust on which made it slightly difficult to fork fulls properly proportioned of the layers.

Also hello to Accurate. And unconventional doesn't mean bad - I make something unconventional rather often.

It was good. I could have used some more onions. What I made wasn't really different than the real thing. I'm sure it was way better than if a place like TGI Fridays try to make it.

I'm sure Brituchenite will appreciate that menu, but I suddenly had the urge to become a vegetarian.

We all 'make something unconventional' sometimes -- but don't give a 'blow by blow' to our friends!;):D

"Great" wine under $4? I think you need to refine your taste in wine a little. ;)

I've had some decent wines in the $8-$10 range, but anything below that is typically over oaked (red) or full of sugar (white) and basically garbage.
