Yes. They are traditionally served fresh from the fryer at Dutch Christmas Markets, often with raisins and mulling spices mixed into the dough, and coated liberally with powdered sugar. ^^^

You really can't go wrong with fried dough and sugar in my opinion. :-::-:Pick a country, any country.

If the Wiki Entry is correct in that FT has 10,000,000 posts, that would mean that Teh Box contains approximately 1% of the total archived wisdom of FlyerTalk. :-:

I think using wisdom and the box in the same sentence is against the TOS.

Given that you don't eat pork, I can see you not eating it. But it is a great product.

That would be one reason, plus i'm not big on processed meats.

I once knew someone who moved back from CA to NJ. When asked why by the locals his response was "I miss the pork roll". Everyone just looked at him funny as they had no idea what he was talking about.

I don't know, but I'm not going to bother if I can't connect in South America. I will just fly LX or TK via a non-East Coast gateway.

I always thought LAX-ZRH would make for a nice line. I'm also partial to the Aerocanadia flights from Western Canadia to Europe.

Completely reasonable. As much as I hate New Jersey, if I moved away I would have someone ship me pork roll and Tastykakes.

If you moved to Teh South, you could indulge in SPAM and Moon Pies. :-:

I have sampled SPAM. It is the polyp on the rectum of processed foods. Moon Pies are excellent; had one once.

I saw some hush puppies today at lunch in our cafeteria. I immediately regretted getting the hamburger I had ordered.

I think I know what station I'll be going to tomorrow.

In Texas, we get by with Chicken-Fried Steak* and Blue Bell Ice-Cream.

*All three varieties of Chicken-Fried Steak (Western Pan-Fried, Schnitzel-Style, and Southern-Fried) are indigenous to various regions of Texas.

Still coasting on that national championship from 1936 I see.

It was 1939. Our Heisman was in 1957. A #2 ranking in '75 (on probation, if I recall), and in the 80's in the Top 5 for The Best Team Money Can Buy. SMU, of course, was #1.
