I'm so done with DL. I tried to like them. I may live in their headquarters, but there's no way I'm status matching to them.

I can say it over here without starting a flame war, but DL took NW WP and trashed most if not all of its good parts. Yes, it was an airline with a "shoddy" hard product and one or two bad apples in line positions, but it had one of the best FFPs in the domestic US at all tier levels. This destruction is why the CO ranks see so many disenchanted NW Elite coming on board.:-:
On the other hand, I've had a lot of nastiness from DL employees, especially at ATL, have experienced far more check-in and boarding chaos with DL than I ever did with NW, and my DL domestic F flights have had a far lower level of service overall than what I had on NW. Granted DL was always better with more snacks in Y and IFE, but those are about the only places where they were better. DL has trashed that frequent flier program, has a pretty lousy product in domestic F that, IMO, is far worse than what NW had, and I just find them very unpleasant to fly. After the shenanigans that went on with my last trip on them, I really don't care to ever fly them again. I have to in late November, but that will likely be one of the very last times. |
Just put in a request for a new scanner. I loved today's assumption of "I have a multi-function printer - don't you?".

Why? Why would A&E do this?
Does A&E also carry the Michael Irvin interior design show? That would explain part of this travesty.

A few pages back, I mentioned that on Sunday an Intl. Res. agent tried to set me up with a partial redeposit of a BF upgrade for my SEA-NRT MR because I wanted to redeem for the not-yet-cleared portion under the new rules (sans copay). Well, I got a call a little over an hour ago from a OnePass supervisor stating that what the agent tried to do was not possible, at least not in the way she did it. Once all was said and done, because of all of the confusion (as background I had, way back in Feb., redeemed and refunded a mileage upgrade on this same booking, so alot of "activity", so to speak), and given the upcoming rule change, the supervisor agreed to refund the $100 copay, look to the current Narita time instead of the current Houston time ;), and place me back on the waitlist for NRT-IAH using the currently redeemed mileage in lieu of redeposit and re-redeem tomorrow.

Like chili or stew, homemade pasta-sauce only gets better on day 2. :-:

Minor point: it's Keyshawn Johnson who has the douche-chill inducing interior design show that is loaded to the hilt with cheesy football analogies. Saw it once, and never will waste my time on this Earth by watching it again.

We watched the first half of it and then exchanged looks, thinking the same thing: My God, what schmucks we are for wasting even 15 minutes. |

Looks like there was a fence breach over in the *A  corral, and a question of if *A golds get automatic free run of the Lounges escaped. sbm12 tried to shoot it as soon as it was discovered, but it's just wounded, and still running.
