My kitchen before tonight (I know, it's awful and needs to be redone, but I was waiting for the right time)

My kitchen tonight after discovering I had a major leak for some time now. The plywood under the sink was all rotted and I may have to replace some of the subfloor.

I really did not want to do the kitchen in a rush, but I have 30 days before Tokyo. Game on :-:

Yikes!:eek: There's an outfit in Greenbrook called 'Beautycraft Kitchens' that does a speedy job of kitchen renovations -- used them in our former house (back in 1990!) It was a simple renovation -- no breaking through walls, etc. -- but they were in & out in 10 days or so!^

if you noticed a lot of ascii art was in reply to the one word dictionary like posters. i rarely did ASCII art when there was good chat going, and if it transitioned I'd move to chatting as well.

Yes, I noticed that. Someone would bot out platypus and then you would respond with an ASCII platypus.

All time favourite is the FlyerTalk ASCII art. :-:

Maybe the game was :rolleyes: but we still had a great time.

First it is being proven over and over that it is better to be a fan of a good team rather than one of the stinkers, like the Raiders. ^

Second, we had a lot of fun with two guys in black jerseys and bald heads painted silver who sat down right next to us. They were really good sports and reminded me of how we took the games in the '70s when the Giants were puke. They cheered like crazy in the second quarter on their team's first first down and they ended up posing for pictures with a lot of the people in our section.

The only problem was that both of them were huge and when tey were sitting, it made it a bit tight in that row. :)

Yanks won but they have had their problems with the Angels this year. The Angels are pretty good and this should be a very interesting series.
