Well the pipes unclogged now. I was in the laundry room and noticed on a shelf a orange super plunger thing meant for toilets and kitchen sinks. Well it did the job. Ok it shot the stopper out of the good bathroom sink and made a mess in there I had to clean up but it all flows nicely now.

PM. She just called to say goodnight and tell me that nothing got accomplished in 3+ hours. Her sisters are infamously cart before the horse thinkers who have no clue of how to think in a top-down, big items first manner.

S:rolleyes:unds to me as if they never even got near the menu discussion. How long could that have taken?

I've not a clue. To be kept in mind is that this is the same (surprise) birthday event where the sisters talked about sending her parents to Chicago. The only reason that they have a trip under booking at all is my noticing of the WN 24-hour fare sale and my research of hotels. Her sisters either don't like to plan stuff or genuinely were never taught how. And the best part? I know now that I won't get so much as a thank you from the other two sisters.

Froot Loops -- the healthy ch:rolleyes:ice:

“You’re rushing around, you’re trying to think about healthy eating for your kids and you have a choice between a doughnut and a cereal,” Dr. Kennedy said, evoking a hypothetical parent in the supermarket. “So Froot Loops is a better choice.”

@:-) You don't have to buy a new bathtub or reglaze. They have a new liner that can be placed over the old tub and presto-new bathtub. I have no idea what these are called or how much but it's got to be cheaper than buying a new tub and moving the drain pipe.

I told my husband, that my next husband was going to be an old fashion wife or I was just going to hire a maid/cook.

Hmmmm.... would said maid/cook have a room to stay in?

@icurhere2: when does FTE typically send out course materials and make first contact before their classes start? I start Sept. 15th and haven't heard a thing other than that they charged my Visa for the refundable $150.

Usually they do that the first day although I have had some professors that wnt you to read three books by the first day.

Any suggestions of great hotels in Brussels and/or Amsterdam (or points in between those two) that are a great place to burn SPG, Marriott, or Hilton points? It's looking like our Thanksgiving trip may involve flying into BRU and out of AMS a week later.

The on/off bus in BRU is worth it in my opinion. lots to see from the 16 stops and I think you could technically reuse the ticket the next day ;)

I will say that the hotel we stayed at was not the best as the AC was no bueno.

Morning from the Westin Aruba. It is a beautiful day down here.

We had a great flight yesterday from EWR-AUA. The EWR-based FA in first was great, and she spent a good deal of time chatting with us. We thought we recognized her from the DO, but she was not there, but was very intrigued by the whole thing. She was glad CO does things like that. She really appreciated that we had been to their training facility and understood what their entire job is - which is different than what leisure travelers believe it is... Interestingly, none of the flight crew is looking forward to Jeff taking over... they all rolled their eye and said "no comment"...

Anyway, it was a great flight and we had excellent service. The Westin is fairly nice, although everything is pretty expensive (food, drinks, taxis, etc). But it is vacation - so that's not a big deal.

Enjoy your weekend!

J

Have fun on the trip. Glad to hear yall got the up!

Welcome to FTer and to The Box! This is a fun place but there is but one rule to The Box: One must start at the begining and read all posts to understand the Box! :D

This is a fun and additive place, pull up a chair, read a few pages and see what you think!

Greetings from ZRH, where there's a disproportionate number of attractive women, half the men dress like normal DBs, 1/6th of the men dress like a special subset of DBs that we will call "Bono", and the remainder seem normal.

PH ZRH is pretty (my previous word was redacted).

call me skeptical but I think that user is a sig whore paid to post. I see this all the time on my vB setup and looks just the same, starting to post up to about 10 times in threads with something 'relevant' just to get more clicks.
