That's why they should have flown you to the off-shore folks to do it in person. At least that's what my argument against remote training usually is.

Why bother slowing down just because of bandwidth? Use lots of accent, jargon, and metaphor. Infrastructure or language issues with those with which they have chosen to replace you are not your problem any more.

If I were you, I'd be laying landmines left and right and just cruise through everything irregardless of their IT delay.

Even more hilarious is he's about the same size as me. And he flies CRJs all the time. Granted, he's up front, not in the passenger seating when he's at the controls.

Never having set foot on a CRJ, I can't comment...but I hope like hell that Bombardier makes a roomy cockpit. Or that he has a good chiropractor.

I'm sure ALCO wishes I was 2" taller too. That way he could laugh even more when we end up on a Saab or RJ flight together. I've flown two trips with the guy and provided him with much alcohol-induced laughter when it came to maneuvering around the midget planes.

If you'd like to experience a CRJ, sit down in a phone booth for three hours.

If you get hungry or thirsty use the phone to call someone. They will tell you "due to the short duration of the time that you're expected to be sitting in the phone booth, I am unable to provide you with anything. By the way, do you know a three letter word for candy?"

Lucky you. Fortunately I haven't been on one since January. Now that there aren't any flying out of IAH in CO colors, and I'm flying exclusively mainline equipment for the forseeable future, it's not hard for me to avoid the things. However, post-merger, all bets are out. UA has a ton of those planes and who knows where they'll all end up.

That's pretty darn accurate, especially for many of the CRJ operators out there. At least on a few of the better ones, like SkyWest, they'd bring you a can of soda and cup of ice, and maybe even a Biscoff.

I have gone out of my way to fly SkyWest if I'm stuck on a regional carrier and there's a choice.
