They are :-: .

It is perhaps the best FT moment that someone posted something that would only result in a penny being charged to the CC. I go into a Starbucks and ask for a large coffee. When they ask questions, I just say, BIG coffee...

You sound married:rolleyes:

You still up? I thought the blender was snoring. :D

Welcome home, though? :D

Indeed; thank you. The apartment is nice and cold. Beats the hell out of the 90-degree, 100-percent humidity of the hotel driveway which I now affectionately refer to as "human soup".

The odds of that happening are slightly less than FIFA admitting they hate America.

If you are paying for the membership, you should use said membership. She wants you to find an activity that's enjoyable to get back in the routine. The objective is to do something.

Figured it was safer to sleep on the bus tomorrow with all the old people:rolleyes:

I used to steal the line from the Denis Leary routine about foofoo coffees. Before I got to know and understand Starbucks and back when I had a taste for their over-roasted burned crap coffee, I would walk in and say that I wanted "a regular normal coffee-flavored coffee."

I am on call for a meeting in Wilmington sometime between now and the end of teh year. Unfortunately, said meeting will be with a billionaire who will give me about 3-12 days warning. I am just hoping he schedules said meeting in the fall. No soup for me, if possible.

I charge any surplus after gift cards / coupons / vouchers to a credit card but don't think I've broken out a one cent charge yet.

At Starbucks or such, it's a big coffee of the day or a soy caramel macchiato. The latter was something I needed back when I hated flying.

Wow -- I thought that was only something that happened here.

We both need to get back in the gym; I'm painfully aware of that. I've also been bugging her about it for three of the four years we've been together. I like cardio and lifting, but I didn't think I'd have the kind of night that I did.

At said hotel, one of the Hyatt people figured out the best drink to order. Indeed, the tail wags the dog.

Do make an effort to stay at my establishment, and if EWR or IAD are cheaper to fly into, do so. It'll give me an excuse to have the house car come get you at the train station. :D

MD / DE weather goes bi-polar in fall - there can be the random days well into the 90's into October (there was indeed a 97 degree day in Baltimore).

How extensive is your gym? Stretching, swimming, water exercise, lifting, etc. are all nice things after a day when it's difficult to keep hydrated.
