I went out and bought a yoga mat/neoprene cover combo for my Wii Fit board today. 340 days til the wedding. Let's see if this helps, since I seem to have hit a plateau. I put two pounds back on, and they have not left yet.

On the phone with Dell tech support about my work laptop that's been dead for nearly two months (I've been using a loaner machine since). This is so frustrating. I don't have the broken computer with me (sorry, not going to haul it around) yet they can't schedule a service technician unless they get me to try and run some diagnostics on the computer, but if I do that Friday when I'm home, they won't be able to schedule me for service until Monday, when I'm not at home.
So now I'm begging my case with a supervisor. This thing needs a motherboard and possibly a power supply replacement. Why can't they just order the parts, schedule the technician for me on Friday, and be done with it? I want this thing fixed Friday, when I'm home to have it done. Period. This is the same crap I dealt with the last time I had to have a repair done on this computer back in January. |
Turkey enchilada time.

Sadly my XM is one of the FM modulation ones - when I started walking to work, I didn't keep the service activated. Might need to revisit that decision ...

Opps, just checked TripIt and I had bought an LGA-IAH-SJC for Oct 2 a few weeks ago. Luckily didnt overbook but this does mean I'm doing 4 SJC mileage runs from Oct-Jan.

Yay! Tomorrow night's upgrade cleared just after I checked in online. There was only one F seat left when I checked in, and I was number one on the standby list. About 15 minutes later I received the EUA e-mail. Coach is completely full on the flight. I was completely resigned to sitting in the exit row, but I'm thrilled to have 1B now.

I did as well - took a 15k hotel that's ordinarily 25k for Saturday. Looks like I'll have to focus on spending a couple dollars at Rewards Network to push to the remaining total to precisely 25k to have two awards (a 15k and 10k).

Dell is refusing to schedule service since I don't have the computer present. The thing won't boot. I have no idea what the heck they're going to diagnose with me on Friday when I call them back. Now I'm stuck calling them Friday, scheduling service for early next week, and hauling the dead computer with me to a client next week to have it repaired while I'm there. I'm not happy. This is the same garbage they pulled back in January, and that resulted in three missed service appointments and at least 10 phone calls.
