That's probably the biggest milestone of this night. It's early out there, though, so if you left coasters want to drive for the big one, please keep the posts brief, to the point, and above all, helpful.

G'night.

Just saw confirmation... Several news sources reported incorrectly yesterday.

Sad -- as much as I dislike UCLA, he was a true gentleman. I live in Westwood and was lucky enough to meet him once. He was as genuine as he came across.

I was lucky enough to see him coach one game in his last season coaching...

Almost 100 years old. He lived a long life.^ We should be lucky to live that long. RIP Coach Wooden.:(

Wow. Vin Scully just did a tribute to John Wooden during the Dodger game. Another great moment for Vin. :-: Just wow.

Come over here. I won't charge you labor, just oil & filter price at cost. I do my own work on my cars - as much as I can without dealing with the ECU.

But it has to be cold.

And good. Must also be good. @:-)

Vodka is only good sub zero, and not watered down with ice chips, people that serve it 'chilled' by watering down with ice are the posers.

I've never seen a Dodger game on TV... but I do remember Vin Scully and Joe Garagiola call baseball games on NBC for the game of the week on Saturdays in the 80s. They are my favorite combination play-by-play and color commentator of all time, for baseball, so far..

Oh, I missed the report earlier. Inspired more greatness than we can ever remember. But I'll bet he remembered them all.

I do my own repairs but actually do pay to get my oil changed - while that's done I spend time on the laptop and the cost (after coupon) is less than it would cost to do myself ...

A couple of years ago, there was a charitable event that included Scully and Wooden telling stories. It was amazing TV -- Vin talked about ice skating with Jackie Robinson and Wooden talked about the personalities of his players.
