Chelsea's strong suit really is soup. I don't eat mushrooms and thought the mushroom soup was good.

The cheese soup never bothered me either. :) Though, I love cheese...

Another Emirates plane has been called back to the gate at JFK due to a no-fly passenger being on board. Oops!

 TSA is really doing a bangup job at JFK in allowing terrywrists in the 'secure' zone.

I'm not really a big mushroom guy either, but can tolerate the mushroom soup. It's essentially garlic cream soup with a few mushrooms. @:-)

The potato leek was very good and the artichoke with spinach and chicken was good too.

I'm not a fan of airplane food, and even when I'm confirmed in [domestic] first it's not unheard of for me to bring on board. But, the CO options in F are generally good enough. I eat just about anything though. What irks me about the CO options are that they're, with the exception of the salad + protein, very high in sodium, fat, and cholesterol. Three things that I try and avoid and, especially on the sodium front, not a good combination with sitting for multiple hours on end.

ETA: I had the chicken over curried rice the other night and thought it was really good. And actually seemed pretty healthy, considering.

It is Emirates' responsibility as well.

The terrorists are winning. This one was allowed to push back.

While it was over two years ago, I had the steak in CO Y both to and from LGW and it was very good. YMMV I suppose.

I stayed with hot entrees all day. Had a salad option twice, passed. Should have tried at least one.

The call back earlier in the week was taxiing to the runway as well.

The account I saw of it said otherwise.

Wait....that would mean that the news got something wrong.

When it comes to food on CO, I keep my expectations low (regardless of being in Y, domestic F or BusinessFirst) and I'm rarely disappointed. Most times, the food isn't bad but I can't say I've ever had a meal that I'd label as good.

Wow, yet another A Christmas Story reference. Although that was peeking duck, I think. And anyway, why ain't it Beijing duck nowadays?

Off topic  it's just been reported from the other room that the Monk finale had more viewers than any cable show ever. Even the Sopranos.
