And oh sweet mother that credit line is . I guess buying a house does that for you.

"What's that? You just went into 30 years of deep debt for a home? Well come on! Let's add a bunch of credit card debt to it!"

Apparently someone burned a bagel beyond recognition in the kitchen.

The kitchen is on the other side of the building.

Apparently the A/C guy the home warranty called can't get to me until tomorrow afternoon between 4PM and 6PM, which just so happens to be the same time we were planning on leaving for GGG.

I haven't been on much the last two days, your home AC went out?!

Mackieman May 6, 2010 7:52 am

It's gonna be a long day, tomorrow.

On the upside, I can get a beer upon check in at the Fairfield Inn. :-:

Yeah, last night. The compressor and fan were running, but no air was blowing out of the vents.

Yeah, I've got a portable A/C unit that ducts out to a window. So I'm using that in the bedroom; as long as I turn it on about an hour before we go to bed it's not too bad in there, and it gets nice after we lay down.

I had one in a place in miami because it had a community rooftop unit that was down about 60% of the time.

It had an AC and dehumidifier, I think I had to empty that bin of water 4 times a day or the AC would go off....

I brought it back with me to TX and then sold it 3 months ago for $100, not a bad deal for me.

This one exhausts most of the moisture out with the warm air from the compressor. If I run it every day, I have to empty it about once a week.
