Especially when they river their K high straight.

I signed the bill last night "under duress" as the guy threatened us. Not good at all.

*sigh* Seth, you remind me of me, you go looking for trouble.

If CM is still around, he might be interested to know that last night in DC I went to a playoff game where most of tjhe players on one of the teams did not appear to give a sh!t whether they won or lost.

There's only a threat in signing a check if said check is grossly inaccurate.

The winning hand doesn't matter. You're an 88% favorite until the flop.

Yeah, but they're French Canadians. You could make the argument that they were upholding a fine tradition of surrender.

My old boss loved to play 20/40 NL at Borgata. A guy at the table admitted on the turn that he had the case deuce for quad deuces. No one believed him. Turned out to be something like a $2,000 pot at a 20/40 table.

The bill was grossly inaccurate. There was a lot of negotiation with the managers before the party and then a lot more after the event. In the end, after all the "negotiating" they basically told us to sign the check and get out. It was a bad scene.
